But i can easily see more Open World games doing it , what FF XV really has for itself is its animations , animation blending and number and its physics simulation in an open-world (realistic rain ,snow , pollen etc ... ) .

The game is a fantasy based on reality ,they take the reality and changes/add fantasy things while still keeping it believable .
The monsters in the demo (if you don't count the goblins ) could easly have been animals or dinos .

Btw FF XV is supposed to get less and less realistic as you progress .
The physically based rendering is giving those monsters a real + .

Well they don't add one rock , from 1 rock in the real life they make 1 kind of rock in the game and it could mean 50-100 differents rocks of the same kind .

Tabata never said all DLCs were going to be free , it was a misstranslation from Siliconera , you can go watch the orignal ATR with the official translation where he said it (TGS 2015 ATR ) .
He said all DLCs like an airship for instance would be free .
