iSuppli, an electronics-supply-chain think tank has estimated that Sony is losing approx. $200-$240 per console. This is speculation, I know. But if it is anywhere near truth, I can't imagine Sony cutting the price. They just need to concentrate on software, and people will buy.
M$ is definatley in the sweet spot, just waiting for Sony to drop the price, because they will follow suit immediatley afterwards as it happened last gen.

MGS4 looks to be like the best thing comin to PS3 to me. Just my opinion though this game looks really f**king cool. I love MG series, I've even played some of the older ones (before PS).
This game could possibly force me to pull out my wallet and buy a PS3.

How is this a hit for Namco? Namco obviously thought they would loose money making this game for PS3, so they opted not to. It's not bad for Namco, it's bad for Sony, because they have lost yet another good game.

Haven't played the Darkness yet. But I agree it does look very similar in gameplay and sortof in art style.
Prey was decent, but DAMN does it make you dizzy. I got motion sickness playing it because of all the weird gravity and whatnot. Had to sell it so that I would stop bleeding out of my brain.
