One way they could improve XBL is to include some type of support in the menus for XBL competitions. Not really polished idea on my part, I'm just dreaming of all the online possiblities :).

I dont really care too much which format wins as long as I can enjoy HD movies cheaper than buying a stand alone player.

For the most part, it's just some harmless "I beat you I'm better than you" talk. But in many cases, especially in Halo multiplayer, it seems almost mandatory to talk as much sh1t as possible before during and especially after a game.
