The cloud got nothing to do with the mandatory 24 hour check in. I am glad they are sticking with Kinect as a bundle. The $100 extra is a bargain for a tech this advance. Remember, the original one was $150 when it was first released and 2.0 on the One definitely has tons of improvement and will be the thing that will separate third party ports from the PS4 ports. If a cell phone can cost $600 unsubsidized and a yearly update iPad is $499 and up, a system with this much features and can last you 6-8 years is well worth the price in my opinion.

Since always online is not mandatory anymore, Kinect should be a non-factor for people paranoid about Big Brother. Just don't connect to the internet. You get to play the single player campaign of Batman Origin while using the bulit-in Kinect for added gaming feature without worry about being recorded to the FBI. Problem solve.

The big question is can the PS4 do arrow to the knee @ 60fps and 1080p? I kid, I Kid.

Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. Both systems will be great and I expect the PS4 to come out on top at the end but with this change by MS, I expect it to even the gap by a lot.
