I second that. I don't go on PS4 articles and talk junk because I can care less about a system that I have no interest in at the moment. Why can't PS4 supporters do the same, is that asking to much?
Or just use a standard 10 feet micro usb cable and you won't ever need battery again if you don't mind the obvious wired connection. Different options for everyone.
I will be getting the nyko 2 pack battery and charge station . It is 30 bucks and will fit my need.
@dedicatedtogamers ,
How come you are in every MS posts? I don't see xbox fans like darth72, Foxgod, or Xboxfun in any Sony news section and spreading hate to a console they have no interest in. I see a pattern here.
Earlier??? I didn't know the thing is on sales already. You should ask Sony why they didn't add rumble in their controller or a headset before the PS3 release while you are at it.
@xHeavy
"Death you are so lame dude, let me remind you that there are a ton of original Xbox games that were not compatible with the 360 games "
Xbox Games compatible with X360

I think that is like 95% plus of all Xbox games that are compatible with the X360, where are the Tons of games that are no...
I think the Original Xbox One was more reliable than the PS2 though. It was built like a tank and that thing can withstand a nuclear blast while I had replaced 2 PS2 due to one with a dead CD drive and one that just died.
It is big so it can have 12gb of Ram inside. I Kid, I Kid.
OT, the power brick is hidden so I don't see an issue with it. I have forgotten that there is even a Power Brick on my X360 simply it is stowed away neatly under my entertainment unit and unseen for ages now.
No Legion,
"without the need of an internal battery" . That mean you can use a micro USB cable that you already have and don't need to buy an additional battery pack for $15 or the charge N Play Cable or use standard AA battery for it to work. There are multiple options now just like the option for players to use any USB3 external HD to save their games and media on the XB1.
Not just the headset news but apparently the controller can be connected with a regular micro USB cable and will act as a wired controller without the need of an internal battery. This is getting better and better.
@Mystogan,
Agreed. When you are looking at everything that is slowly being revealed, you can see the value of the XB1 being highly justified. The headset is not some cheap $1 earbud, it is the same as the retail $25 headset with the new voice fidelity technology. With Kinect, games, even third party multiplat titles can be unique to XB1 due to the 100% attach rate of the sensor. This generation is about expanding features and prettier graphics just ain't going to cut it. I a...
Mostly for the charge N play kit. You wouldn't want to keep pulling your XB1 out from your entertainment center and have to use the back USB port to connect the charging cable or using it during gameplay while the controller is charging.
WOW, this headset is making the PS4 offering looks like an iPod earbud in comparison. Well done MS!
LOL, this is just great news for people complaining about a headset not being included. Also, two other rumors also got debunked in "no power button" and "can't disconnect the Kinect sensor". For those paranoid gamers fearing the Gov is watching them like Big Brothers, just hit the power button to off and disconnect the Kinect sensor from the Kinect port...
"But the platform holder told MCV that it’s working hard to meet the strong demand for its new console. And it won’t be halting day-one pre-orders just yet."
That is the true meaning of meeting demand. What a MISLEADING headline.
I really love the fact the MS is bringing a diverse lineup of multiple genres and ideas to the XB1 and not solely rely on FPS this time around. For all the hate that they are receiving for making the X360 a FPS heavy console, the only FPS in their arsenal is Halo. Now their lineup seems more diversify than ever that covers every genre imaginable.
I think Phil Spencer is the right man in charged of gaming development because he seems like a big gamer and understand our view(he...
Good point. I think that date was accidently (or on purposely??) leaked on Xbox.com so they took it down until it get closer to Gamescom.
It seems like a good strategy to release the console with the highest selling franchise in history so it can attract more potential buyers. It is like selling cranberry sauce on Turkey day.
Com on georgeenoob, you got to use your bubble more wisely. Even I can't defend you on that. LOL
@Gravelord
Xbox One
$500 for console(w/ Kinect)
+$0 for Xbox live (have 1 year left with xbox live membership so no need for it)
+$0 for headset (Already have my A51 headset and Kinect can act as my speaker phone, so there is no need for a headset)
+$0 for play n' charge kit (Already have a dozen rechargeable batteries so I just keep rotating them in the charger)
Now, the games will kill me though.
+$300 for Ryse, ...
"Good luck downloading more than 10 games on X1s HDD"
infinite external HD option and cloud storage said hi.
I have a couple of 2TB USB3 HD I got laying around and not being used and I am going to use them with the XB1 for storage.
My ratio is:
Over 120 Xbox 360 games
26 PS3 games
3 Wii games (skyward sword, Xenoblade, metroid Other M)
Most of my games are third party games and I prefer the x360 for third-party game.
When I get my PS4 late next year, I might be buying more third party games on that system if they are indeed better ports. I have no affiliation with either company to care that much but I always want the better product.
Going full digital just incase they bring the family share plan back.
