Multiplatforms are going to be the line up for 360, and at the end of every commercial, "buy a xbox 360 starting at $199 ($150 by march?). Just look at the commercials for RE 5 and the red xbox promo
Price wise they are not competing, but you could found a iphone owner that sees no need in getting a PSP, but hardly someone choosing one over the other

If you want to play Hi def games, nothing else, the arcade is more than enough.
The 360 is the most affordable way to play RE 5 and all the awesome games that can be found for cheap in the used section, like Gears 1, Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden 2, WWE vs Raw, Bioshock, Forza, etc...
The 360 is a good buy due to its $200, and besides PS 3 exclusives, you can play most of the major games in the last 3 years and this year.
MS will be better than fine, and if they drop the price and Sony does not: Beware, that could be a huge hit to the "year of the PS3"...
now bring the games and make everyone happy

the market share argument is the main difference between MS and Sony. After MS got destroyed last gen, they act in a sense of desperation, and they are right because if they were competing without the price drops and bundles it would be possible for Sony to bash them again.
Anyway you put it, MS is in for the market share, Sony is in the business mentality, where profit is the main goal.
in that case it sucks pretty much.
I see the PS3 as the best bang for the buck in the electronics departments. Many point to the fact that Blu Ray players can be found at $200 but forget to mention that the PS3 is a top of the line Blu Ray player with the ability to update and go online.
so the PS3 breaks down as a $200 BR player and a $200 gaming console(also top of the line ;))
Sony is right if they dont drop the price, but the gamers are desperate to...
the demo is representative of the normal mode. You will do fine, but obviously the difficulty increases as you progress in the game.
BTW, that demo looks so beautiful that i had to buy the NG game for the 3rd time! (Ninja Gaiden, NG Black, NG Sigma)

That in part is what degrades NG art form into a pretty action button masher. The dash also sucks, the roll was more strategic and better looking
At least new owners will get the PS3 bundle with Resistance FoM, and Motor Storm for $399. This adds much value and a virtual $60 drop.
Not bad, i got mine 80GB With Motor Storm for $499 (but it has BC, 4 USB, and the card readers-nice)
This bundle is like the 360 bundle i got in Christmas 2007- 20 GB, Forza 2, Ultimate Alliance.

the halo brand sells, no doubt. In this case the game takes the credit. The demo put this game in my "want to buy list". Really well made, good controls, nice marketing, good production values. Maybe MS is not the handicap studio many think and actually delivers games that are very enjoyable and sells very great. A million for an RTS game that has not been hype and RTS success in a console = MS is doing their thing extremely successful.

Exclusives: yesterday i was looking through my PS3 library and realized that most games had the Sony logo (exclusives) and it was not intentional, is just that the exclusive are so much better than most multi the decision is easy
