game does look cool, but i haven't seen enough to get too hyped. for sure want to play it though.
the game looked to be playing with white and blue. then add little red and orange accents here and there.
i strongly disagree with you sir. i like both :)
i think i just might.
i am thinking about it. i was worried at first, because of the early hype. it just felt like the same thing when GTA IV came out. i ended up hating the game, and it seemed like most people who played it for more 8 hours felt the same.
RDR seems to still be bringing in praises from all over. i think i might have to go out and pick it up. i swear, if this game isn't good i going to hunt all the people down who said it was great, and slap them in the titty!!! Rockstar and th...
that doesn't really make sense. being that Rockstar developed and published the game. that means they should be taking in $30-40, depending on marketing cost, for each game sold. meaning 2.5-3 million copys sold should do more than enough to break even.
yeah KOTOR crashes on me a lot.
1. Right click on your game in steam
2. Click "properties"
3. Click "set launch options"
4. enter the cmd "-dxlevel 81" (without ")
5. click "ok" and close properties
6. launch the game
7. if the game is not working properly try the cmd "-dxlevel 70"
i think the review embargo could have something to do with it. needing to score 80 or higher, or reviewers had to wait until the release date.
Alienware and Mac? you need to learn how not to over pay for your PCs.
you received disagrees because you're wrong. the tittle was changed, but the game was the same.
agree. 12 hours is the sweet spot for most single player games.
i too think something needs to be done with game pricing. i know if the same games where $20-30 i would buy 2-3xs as many games a year. i do think the same would be true for most gamers.
the problem would be the bigger selling games. MW2, Halo, etc would most likely sell few more copys with such a price cut. making the price drop not as worth to the publishers. though the mid to lower selling/reviewed games would see the sale increases. i would take a chance on Alpha Protoco...
agree with the kid comment. kids are destructive little bastards.
i wanted to get into this conversation at Alphas first post. then i got side tracked, and missed all the good debate. bubbles to Alpha, Trroy, and Basch. most of my points have already been stated so no reason to be redundant.
@yess
maybe cuz people wanting into this debate are more of the core gaming audience. any one can play a game. hell, my GF put in more time gaming than i did this week (Peggle), and she doesn't know or care about any aspect of the ...
the Fallout was my favorite.
n my opinion BFBC2 is highly over rated. its a good game, but i dont get why its so loved. i always get squads filled with snipers. not to mention the people who just run around with rpgs to take out soilders instead of vehicles. then you have a hit detection and knife problems(PC). no one ever works as a team, and lvl up takes forever. not that bad if you been playing since the beginning, but i came a month late, and every one was a lot better equipped than. the actual gameplay is top notch....
wouldn't be the same as my list, but i do agree with #1.
UFC 2010 only #10 on the 360 can't be a good sign. the game kind of deserves bad sales anyways. the improved fighting mechanics are great, but the extra features suck, and the online doesn't work at all.
PS1 and SNES could be argued.
