what an angry asshole we have here. i never attacked anyone. i didn't even disagree with his comment. in fact, i agree with most of what he is saying.
AAA was originally used with in game companys to describe a big budget game. one that they would put a lot of money into development and advertising. later gamers took that term to describe games that end up getting 90% or higher review scores. some go so far as to describe games that break the million sales mark, but that...
if you dont think MW2 was AAA then you have no idea what that term means.
i think if it was just one game consumers would push back. now if all the big shooters coming out(Halo,COD,Killzone,Socom,Ge OW,etc) i can almost guarantee 50% is a conservative guess.
the huge successes of Starcraft 2 just shows the big talking gamers don't actually follow throw with what they say on forums. we all hate Activision and would never pay the same price for a PC games as we would for a console game. not to mention us PC gamers buy majority of our games from ...
muffin>pie>cake
really. i can deal with all the top 10 list and the lame blog post, but this is just out of hand. sure it an okay deal if someone wants it, but this isn't the place to talk about it.
sorry i am going to have to skip this game. only got into 2 RTSs and Starcraft was one of them. my Activision ban is what is stopping me, so unless my cousin, the only other PC gamer i know, i won't be playing this anytime soon. the $60 price tag alone is enough to remind me why i boycott Activision.
just don't understand gamers. we all bitched about Activision but people still buy their games. PC gamers always proclaim how great it is to get games cheaper than consol...
@Death
1.Mopar isn't pretending to be a writer. just poster on a website.
2.market share has nothing to do with this conversation.
3.HD graphics isn't needed for gaming but it makes it better. look at FFXIII to see why its better.

the best part of your response was the response of the author. he shrugged off your entire post, and acts as if its only a difference of opinion. lol
if its was the most epic goty then i might agree. lol
agree but i think they tend to more connected with more of the gaming public than anyone on gaming websites would like to admit.
@GWAVE
well so far for me Mass Effect is still holding the top spot, and that wasn't on my PS3.
@ThanatosDMC
i agree. ME2 my GOTY so far, but i didn't like it as much as the first one. i have been saying since it came out, instead of fixing the problems in ME they just throw them out of ME2.
i guess im the only one asking, why would anyone want this?
why isn't anyone actually talking about what the article says?
i don't doubt this rumor one bit. NVIDIA been having trouble with power consumption, heat, cost, and performance with their GPUs of late. if thats anything to go by i would say that there probably something to these rumors.
i would give the Zombie credit to modders on the PC. if the game was a shooter you knew for sure someone was going to release a zombie mod. now its more of the developers releasing the zombie mode and charging you for it.
no it reminds me more of DMZ.
love the Moon Night idea.
think Daredevil should be added.
i know Doctor Doom isn't a superhero, but think a cool game could be made with him.
Deadpool is a cool character, but i don't know how good a game he could make. it would end up being a hack n slash with Deadpool continually making comments about being in a video game.
luckily N4G is completely filled with Sony fanboys. other wise this would turn into a shit storm of childish behavior.
o'wait
looking forward to from this list:
Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World
GT5
Civ5
LIMBO, though i dont own a 360
truest statement i've seen in days.
actually i did tell u the meaning(s), but you don't care to listen. not my fault you have no clue where the term came from. if you want to go on and use AAA to refer to games u like then go ahead.
i made the passing comment, because its N4G and i was at work. i had no i idea some guy would get his panties in a bunch over such an insignificant post.
