im going to have to be the lone disagree. i thought 2 was a step in every way except co-op. i also don't think 2 got that much hate. more people where just disappointed more than anything.
the THQ pack is a good deal if you don't have thoses games.
i would go with ATI due to price for performance. both have great options though.
same with me. the monthly fee is the biggest reason i've never gotten into an MMO.
all three of you are telling the truth. still, you don't turn around and tell people you are saying good things only because you work for the company. thats just as bad as saying bad things about said company.
good point, but you forgot that it set trends (hopefully) in story telling, voice acting, motion capturing, and graphics.
you are right glass. as of right now there is no proof, only speculation, that the 360 caused any sort of down grade to FFXIII.
also would like to say, i am 25 or so hours into FFXIII and the game is great. i don't understand the hate that this games is getting.

agree goal. though i haven't tried the game yet, everything i've seen of MMA hasn't impressed me. expect maybe knees to the head. the lack of improvements outside of the fight mechanics, in UFC 2010 has turned me off of any MMA game for a long while. im sure i will rent it EAs MMA.
i loved all the upgrades to the fight mechanics in 2010. yet the rest of the game ws the same thing from 09, or in the case of the online, worse.
6-10 years without an upgrade? thats crazy talk. iam around 3-4 years and looking to upgrade early next year.
the developer gets around $10 of the $60 from the sold game. if they only sold 1.5 million copys and had a 20 million budget. that would make for a 5 mil lost.
the developer tends to be paid before the actual release of the game. anything extra paid to them after would be because of high metacritc score or high sales. of course said bonuses aren't necessarily in every contract.
i dont' get the whole "you look stupid while playing," argument. i think people look pretty stupid while playing regular games. just watch people get into any game they play.

i too enjoy Firefox more, but think Chrome is a lighter browser so it would probably work better for the PS3. hell i would take IE over the browser we get now.
most people would go with TM, but i actually played more Vigilante 8 on my PS1.

can't say the tech is crap, but what Microsoft showed for software was. i think more people on gaming sites are looking more at the software, and morning shows can play up the cool new tech for the casual crowed.
its not a waste of 25 hours though. sure its linear, but most games are and people are fine with that. the characters, story, world, and battle system is what gets you through the game. if you didn't enjoy any of that then of course you wouldn't like the game.
