Ha ha yeah, weather your a PS3, 360 or Wii gamer, you just gotta love David Jaffe. =) I just think his take on gaming is so unique and fresh. He's one of the few developer blogs that I look forward to reading.
I really can't help but love Jeff. When something needs to be said, he usually says it outright. Not to mention his insight on gaming is usually pretty genius. =)

I 100% agree. This is one of the most logical articles I've read thus far. Ben, this might be the first article I've read of yours, but your a heck of a writer and you make a lot of sense, way to go.

I've really been longing to play an Ecco title on a next-gen system, so I guess this will do for now. =) But c'mon Sega! Let's see a new Ecco title! Can you imagine how beautiful those water effects would look in 1080p!? =) BTW, I think the Ecco games (all of them) are absolutely brilliant.
Hmmmm, yeah, odd it's not in there, unless maybe it's an unlockable or somethin'. Guess they didn't include it due to the fact that it's a Genesis only collection.
Being a Genesis fanatic, this is gonna be a day one purchase for me. =) I just hope they include online co-op for the Streets of Rage games. Also, it's gonna be interesting to see how the trophy system works with this game(s). I own a good portion of these original cartridges. =) Can't wait!
Yeah, but this collection is nowhere as big on the PS2. The PS2 collection was only Sonic games with a few others thrown in for good measure.
True. The problem with this generation is the power of the internet. I don't think people were as quick to open their mouth back in the Genesis/SNES days due to the fact that the base they were trying to influence wasn't all tat big, but know with a review only a few keystrokes and clicks away, everybody is getting in on the action, including the the immature gamers/reviewers.
