He he, yeah, perhaps these games could be like therapy after the post-traumatic syndrome of Killzone 2. =)

@ Papraxis

Definitely man! That's a pretty nice find. =)

Well, I know games like Ecco the Dolphin on the Genesis and especially Dreamcast served both purposes, or at least in my opinion they did. It provided some pretty challenging gameplay with some incredibly beautiful visuals. If you haven't played that on either console, I HIGHLY recommend it. =)

I think it's Kratos' scream at the end of the trailer that seals the deal. Also, I hope everyone noticed the excruciating amount of details, such as the muscles realistically flexing along with the flaring of the nostrils. INCREDIBLE.

I have high hopes for this. Let's just hope it backs as much punch as the action in the movies. Also, there's no reason why we shouldn't see EVERY SINGLE weapon/piece of technology in the Predator's arsenal. Those infrared stick tabs were freakin' awesome.

It's funny, I have played God of War but never owned the game, I guess it just wasn't my style. (I'm more of a Heavenly Sword hack n' slasher, Nariko appealed to me more than Kratos) But I could definitely see myself checking this one out.

And yes, this trailer is disgusting. Disgustingly awesome. =)

@14.2

Different strokes for different folks. I mean, I think Sony is excellent, but that doesn't mean it can't be beaten in some instances. I know Sharp (perhaps in your opinion Samsung) is giving Sony a heck of a run for it's money when it comes to TVs. Although I must say, in my honest opinion, Sony HD TVs look the best.

I agree big time. Not in a fanboyish way, but yeah. When I shop for high-end electronics i.e. TVs, radios, camcorders, etc. I tend to go with Sony. They just have that extra quality touch.

I edited this comment as this kid just can't handle it...

Oh yeah also, editors like this, like the one who posted this story, is the reason why stories pop up on N4G with titles like "What Makes Someone A Gaming Journalist" and "Just Because You Like Video Games, Doesn't Make You A Gaming Journalist". You disgrace the art...

Wow, GamingFront just keeps going lower and lower. They try and drive hits through shock value and rumors, oh, and of course these ridiculously misleading titles. If any admins on GamingFront are reading this, this dimwit Omodis is killing your site with this crap...

If Sega puts out another console and it's GOOD, I'll go for it. Sony/PlayStation is what I went for after the Genesis and Dreamcast. I was always a huge Sega fan, so this might give me a chance to return to my roots. =)

How do you find this new? I've known about this since before I even owned my PS3...

6268d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

True. It makes you wonder what a true sequel would look like, should they decide to make one. Heck they've basically turned the original into a sequel with all this DLC! =)

Absolutely wonderful article. Good to the last drop. =)

Uh, I'm pretty sure you can have this done for FREE by playing the original Metal Gear Solid... =)
