I've always hated this on console, that means at any given time they can take the servers down and no one can play online anymore.
Car dealerships do not send money back to the manufacturer when they sell a used car, architect's do not get money when a house is re-sold, softare programmers do not get a share of money when someone uses their product to make something.
So why should game developers get extra money for a used product if no one else does?

This right here is the big point, Right now only people who have access to a capture card, USB device or recording software and equipment to actually get it up tend to load clips to youtube, *outside of the few cellphone captures*
The problem now is that any "OMG DID THAT JUST HAPPEN" 30 second gameplay clip is going to start flooding in.
And thus died gameplay videos.
As it stands there are so many bad game videos out there, adding this feature is just going to lead to a swarm of them, and most likely youtube starting a charging fee if anything because of people posting complete garbage videos thousands of times.

Man I played FF11 and I very much enjoyed it, but I started it 9 years to late. as for ARR I loved the heck out of it, I put in 90+ hours on the beta over 3 weekends.
