XD I keep forgetting where I am even I post that type of thing.
I thought this was old news at this point. The PS4 is faster because it has a dedicated Zlib hardware component to accelerate the decompression process.

Thanks and wow, a single 680 is pretty awesome. I'd like to see what they have that can push the 980.
This is pretty impressive stuff. I want to make use of these nVidia features when I start making games, anyone catch a mention of what GPU setup they had powering this?
I don't think they know what a 4/10 game truly looks like.
What if it's 900P on PS4 because of the parity, BUT they include extra and/or more effects than the X1? Would that satisfy people?
Really torn between this and the glacier white. I like the more compete look of the white but I know this won't turn an off yellow over time.
@thunderbear
Yes, I meant to say anti-aliasing. Just missed that before I hit the reply button.
Replying to your question on Forza Horizon 2 anti-aliasing above. (n4g won't allow for a long chain of replies)
I don't know much of what went on behind the scenes when they developed this game, but my guess for why they used it is because it's a standard feature for games these days and 4xMSAA is generally pretty good quality. As for the question of how they used it, again I'm not sure of the specifics but they probably just had quite a bit of memory and processing p...
I'd say the aliasing is pretty good, looking at the scene overall. There is visible aliasing on the car but most of the edges have what looks like very high quality anti-aliasing applied. I'm guessing this is due to the strange but unique anti-aliasing system they have in place.
Doesn't seem like it will be a very fun game if you're only riding in a tube. Might be a nice way to make people sick with an Oculus Rift though.
Doesn't really sound like to people having a real conversation. The voice acting between the two was too monotonous.
We can get very realistic looking tech demos but I don't think we have the power yet to make an entire game with photo realistic graphics.
@ your second comment; that makes no sense. Photo realism doesn't require a resolution so insanely high that we can't see individual pixels. Think about it, do you look at digital photos of real life and think, "this doesn't look real"? Photorealism by definition is simply taking reference from stills or video and trying to recreate them in another medium.
According to his LinkedIn profile he did go to college. Strange as I don't see anything about "watching paint dry in free time", on his resume.
On topic: I agree with what almost everyone else here is saying; college is often times stressful and a game every now and then is a great way to relax.
These two are almost perfect together. Future HMDs should come with Leap sensors built though.
This. A simple OTG cable is all that's needed for the DS4.
At that point you can still get to the charges using a large smoke screen cover.
Apparently fake. Others on the site have spotted "RP", rating logo on Killzone box art in the folder. Real icon of-course doesn't have this.
I think they're holding things back because it's a story focused game and they don't want to give away too much of it.
