I would care, but just a little; once I get a new system I pretty much stop playing the old one. I find that I only go back to the old systems just for those games I never finished/had great replay value.
What does Infamous have to do with Sunset Overdrive? You do realize it's a different developer right?
Sony/PS4 supports mouse and keyboard already; last gen the PS3 also supported it. The problem however, is that it's up to devs to support it in their games and last gen, only Epic did with Unreal Tournament.
Hope they add some maps that actually feel different like they had in the first game. As it is right now, they are just skinning the same stage with different backgrounds.
LOLNope.
Current consoles are going to be stuck with 1080P for games. The developers of the Trine series managed to get Trine 2 running at 4k at 30fps on the PS4 but Sony has limited the resolution output for games to 1080P.
The description of the combat reminds me of another sony title;Freedom Wars. Really looking forward to this!
Looking only at the geometry it's pretty close to natural looking. I'd say it's the materials/shaders, and lighting used here that throws it off.
Haven't tested it yet, but I highly doubt it, given that the PS4 is capped to 720p recording still. No point in giving an output at 1080P or 60fps when the input is only 720p/30fps.
Don't know if Sharefactory actually puts a cap too, but the PS4 recordings are capped at 30.
It's not that it's not real, but it's just not practical for tons of players to use at once, and even then after they buy all the servers to do this who's going to pay for it? Does it just come out of the profit they make from LIVE (what's the benefit to them?)?
Next, think about the level of interaction with this content, because of network latency and bandwidth, you can't just use this as you would a local processor. It can only be used for things li...
PSP is only "better" in the amount of games it has. I think I've had more fun with my Vita than I ever did my PSP though.
Try changing your settings, maybe lower your texture quality. One thing I noticed back in BF3 is that I was able to run the game smooth most of the time, but like you I would get random drops down to similar frame rates. Checking my machine readings while the game was in play I found that I was running out of memory on my GPU and it had to almost completely pause just to free some memory anytime there was a huge change in the scene. This was also the case for me with a couple other games too....
You're missing out on all the community fun discussing the choices you made and plot/character speculation.
How exactly do you know what he's worked on? Unless you ARE the guy in this article you don't know. Really not helpful to just make assumptions and pass them off as fact.
Armchair experts coming out of the wood works to shoot down this guy's words.
Just because he used to work for Naughty Dog, doesn't mean he was some sort of fanboy trying to talk bad of Xbox/Microsoft. In fact, the fact that this guy worked for Naughty Dog should suggest to you maybe he has a little more knowledge on the technology. It's not like a graphics engineer who used to work with OpenGL is ONLY going to know OpenGL.
If true, that's pretty annoying. The community was just getting back into this franchise with the last game. I don't plan on buying an XB1 just for this. Hopefully they also extend this exclusivity to PC.
This. Last gen was good, but it was always significantly behind PC. This gen, games are mostly at native 1080p and have most if not all of the graphics effects featured on the PC versions albeit at a lower quality setting. Even though PC is still ahead, console graphics are still in a nice spot now. They're not as clean as PC but, they're not ugly anymore.
That sucks for those affected. Just launched it and checked my library after, and it appears all is fine. I heard in some regions the demo was a PS+ download and that caused some issues with the license.
In an earlier video, they played it and all seemed to enjoy it, but none of them performed any special moves/X-Ray.
Creating things is fun (imo anyway). Think about sites like DeviantArt, they exist to help artists sell pieces sure, but most of the content there is to showcase the artists' hard work and skill.
