I'm gonna go ahead and listen to the people that actually made there tech as opposed to the random X1 dev that. That being said I don't know why there is such a big deal about this being made. The PS4 is more powerful, end of story. Now let's just wait for the games coming to each console.
So it's basically a demo? I mean if I have to pay $20 to get more than 1 character I might as well classify the "free" game as nothing more than a demo.
@Elite I'm sorry man but you are 100% wrong. GDDR5 is far superior when it comes to graphics and DDR3 is used for the OS and all the applications that you would use. There is a reason that gaming PC's are made with GDDR5 Vram these days and not GDDR3. When it comes to graphics it is better to have.
My coworker bought one yesterday and then ordered his mounting bracket and 750gb hard drive from ebay for $70. So in total about $300 for a $750gb PS3. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
Maybe one day they will show some game play.
I just saw all of them out in the case. I didn't ask if it was for sale yet or not but they had around 6 in there
I'm confused, are these supposed to be released yet? I literally just saw them at walmart 20 minutes ago.
I'm not sure how I read this whole thing but I was entertained so kudos. I also was a victim of the RROD..... 4 times actually. I'm glad that was fixed with the 360s
Oh wow, way to really set the bar..... Have they heard the word "innovation" before?
It's like they're taking everything they claimed was an advantage for the X1 and getting rid of it. They're stuck playing catch up and it's kinda sad from a consumer standpoint. I just want someone to tell the people in charge to be themselves, find your own identity.
Every time I get online it seems Microsoft has made another change. Maybe they should do the reveal over again. I'll be willing ti bet this isn't the end either, I bet we see plenty more changes happen as they try to close the gap with Sony before launch. I'm not saying all the changes they make are bad but damn it's a lot.
Ryse hasn't been shown running on a X1 only a PC. Someone prove me wrong on that and if you can't please tell me why that is?
My mistake, thank you for the correction.
Come on Xbox, just be yourself. Why go from trying to be an industry leader to clearly being an industry follower?
@No_Limit you do know that PS4 games will also be available for digital download so I'm not sure what that has to do with the numbers being so unbalanced.
A $5 deposit at GameStop or Best Buy does not mean you're stuck with it. You can change it to another game or get a refund. So I don't see how that makes these numbers less accurate.
It seems the initial attach rate of the PS4 is higher than the X1 in the states. I'm not surprised that it's higher but I'm surprised it's that much higher. I would be interested to see the number of GameStop and Best Buy. I think we would see a trend.
Pachter's opinion is dead and he can't save it.
I will say that the 360 using AA batteries didn't bother me too much but I still think it is ridiculous that in 2013 a gaming controller that will be used for hours at a time still uses them. Let's take advantage of technology, especially since it's a $500 machine.
Yeah, AMD is the most neutral source we will ever get when it comes down to it. The have no reason to lean left or right because they've already got there money from both. I think we can put the "What is more Powerful" debate to the side officially now.
