Blood Rayne Betrayal didn't sell as much as they hoped so they pretty much gave up on the franchise.
EA has come out and said they are not going to do things like that. Even after the MS announcement. They are trying to change their image.
Anyone remember the doom and gloom articles about the 3DS? The 3DS had a poor start too but they turned it around. How do you know they can't do the same with the WiiU? Nintendo is far from being in an actual crisis where there have to do what Sega did and just start making games for other systems.

I don't know why you would need a mandatory 24 hour check to play a hour long demo.
Most of the features didn't need a 24 hour check. It was actually very unnecessary.
A one time verification and authentication check would have worked for most of them.
I only played a couple but loved the ones I did play. Silver, Black 2, and Pearl.
I also played Coliseum on GameCube and that game was awesome. The WiiU needs a 3D Pokémon game like coliseum and XD Gale
Obviously nobody is omplainig. Streaming games couldn't work offline. It's an online service that needs online to work.
The One required you to connect every 24 hours, even when you weren't using online services.
