Specs have never really mattered. Wii and PS2 were both weaker than the competition.

I really get annoyed by comments like these. The people who claim the Japanese are some type of hateful bunch that refuse to buy anything American. You're wrong. Go to Japan and you will see tons of people using Apple products.
The problem is not that Microsoft is American, the problem is they suck at marketing in Japan and don't try hard enough to appeal to that audience.

I don't think Sports games are technically milking it. I mean, they need to released updated versions because of the constant changes in rosters.
Now, when you're talking about something like Just Dance, a yearly release would be milking it. But the casuals will still eat it up like a moist piece of cake.
