"Even if animals do have feelings, they aren't sentient"

You F-ing idiot, all animals are sentient, sentient means they have awareness, and they do, they feel pain and live organised lives, they are more social than humans and have more of a right to this world than we do, as animals naturally preserve their surroundings, unlike humanity who breed, and breed, and breed, and breed.

Get a clue, your an embarrassment, it;s easy for you to say from your soapbox...

Who cares if it is, small games journalism never had credibility, and the larger sites are driven by ad revenue, and the reviews cannot be trusted for suspicion of money changing hands, gaming journalism needs a standard before it can even earn the title of journalism, and in all likelihood, the majority of 'gaming journalists' have no formal qualifications and are not journalists at all, sit back and enjoy the insane uninformed rants and childish blogs that pass for news, because that's all ...

I think crysis looks better without AA, strange but true, on the very high setting crysis uses parallax occlusion mapping, which is not compatible with AA ( full scene aa, edge aa still works, which is the best type for crysis anyway as it affects the folliagem which is the only real jagged part), so I believe it actually has no effect when enabled on very high, unless there is a config workaround.

I have to same concerns about PETA, but at least they are spreading awareness about animal rights, that's all they do is run their mouths, when organisations like WSPA are actually out there rescuing animals from cages in china etc etc.

I respect PETA for their message, but if I was to donate money it would go to every animal organisation but PETA

I don't see how mocking the clubbing of seals in any way helps them, it would possibly only serve to desensitize people.
Got damn cruelty to anumals pisses me off though d!ckless hunters unnecessarily killing animals and people wearing fur...ARGH!

actually ati have the 6000 series scheduled for late 2011, by then I suspect nvidia will have their next gen out also

@Pandamobile

2 years from the 5000 to the 6000 series isn't long considering it's a complete re-design

People who intend to buy these cards like myself do, butthurt ati fanboys of course do not,

"3d gaming is useless, 32xaa sucks"

"but eyefinity is TOTALLY relevant and necessary "( according to them)

"therefore ati wins"

Jesus christ, I didn't even comment because the B.S was inevitable.

But it will look amazing in all older games that can run 32x without a hitch, like bioshock and the witcher, I for...

maybe because the overpriced peripheral is overpriced and ridiculous, I'm sure the control is also easier

maybe that's because hair bands suck, every whip out the spandex so we can rock out like it was 1980 all over again!

ati has used the same basic architecture since the 2000 series, I don't know where your 'ahead on the tech' thoughts come from, I havn't seen any 5000 series stock anywhere for more than a month, they did a very very limited launch just for bragging rights, and have been low on supply ever since as they are suffering from the same manufacturing issues as nvidia as they are both using TSMC, ati's real re-design 6000 series won't be out until late 2011, and by then nvidia will have steamrolled ...

at the same time panda, keeping your pc up to date can be a drain, even the most powerful card in existance cannot get crysis to run a 60 frame average with no aa at 1080 in DX very high....and how much do they go for $599?, add in a new cpu in 2 years time just so your pc isn't bottlenecked beyond belief, and a new overpriced motherboard/ram...

they are the tesla cards, and if i'm not mistaken, that particular card is basically the gtx360 equivalent, the most powerful single gpu will likely have 512 as nvidia said the cards will have 'up to 512'

"I stated to make it a non grinding kind of level. One that naturally progresses. You do not see experience being earned and it is not something you would sit in Hyrule field leveling up. It would be decided behind the scenes based upon your actions."

But whats the point in having a non-measurable leveling system at all, especially in a linear game, where all people would basically reach the same levels at the same point in the game, which would make levels pointless. T...

my opinion is that leveling creates the need or desire to grind in order to succeed in the game, taking away from the story aspect which has been the main element of the zelda series, in all of the zelda games you battle your way to objectives and through the story triggers, you don't go out of your way to fight for the sake of it. Grinding offers no rewarding gameplay in any game, even rpg's, in my opinion, retaining the action based combat retains it's simplicity allowing the story to devel...

If this game is extremely succesful, a lot more people would go subscription based, which would be a bad thing for a lot of developers ( as witnessed the those whose ambitious projects that have missed the mark and send them under eg tabula rasa )

and it definitely won't be good for gamers...

I hope it sells, but I hope it isn't the sole breadwinner on the horizon for publishers and developers

6020d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

wtf is the author on, that would be heresy, the zelda series is legendary, they shouldn't change a damn thing, I wouldn't mind a longer story though, I like the linear but open world nature of the games where it unfolds as they intended at development, just like a beautiful story

Hopefully that quote means for the devs and not the users :S
