I got excited an hour ago, a delivery came, and the look of glee on my face would have been embarrassing, it was the same size as a game, I felt it...and it was a god damn uni text book for my girlfriend, I threw it across the room, perhaps not the most sensible thing to do, but I was so sure it was my copy of ME2 here to save me from another boring day playing old games...

Saw this yesterday, maybe it would be more funny if I knew what the hell Jersey Shore was, but judging even from that parody, I'm glad I don't.
I was genuinely interested to see the footage after so many months of talk, and i've never been let down as much by the hype, that footage bored me to death, nothing about it was inspiring, the graphics, the animations, all standard, nothing above, if the gameplay is half as bad then this game will tank
Yes I have heard of a tutorial level, but before now I hadn't seen one that made me want to pass out.
The final fantasy series is emotional and unsurpassed for cinematic story, both in game cut scenes and pre-rendered, those games have emotion, this game appears to have none.
I love in game cut scenes when they're good. Every game has cinematics and they are an important part of the games, it is not always possible to combine 100% of the story elements into the gamep...
Isn't that why people buy games...for the gameplay??
If you want an animation go watch Final Fantasy- The Spirits Within, animation that still won't be capable in games for another 10 years and probably a better story than Heavy Burden on my Eyelids...I mean Heavy Rain
Judging from that uninspired clip, I don't think it's coming to cinemas, maybe it's a straight to rental movie.
I think even a lot of people who have been dying for it will only rent it after that footage.
9 minutes and no gameplay....did anyone else fall asleep.
I don't care how innovative it is ( I personally can't see the innovation, unless complete lack of gameplay is considered such ), games are about interaction ( that's what makes them different to a movie ) and this just plain sucked.
