I have heard so many bad stories about XFX, I have a Zotac card and it has an 8 year warranty, next upgrade you should look into it, they also make some of the faster factory O.C cards, my card:

I've had my gtx280 for 2 years now and I'm itching for a new card so I'm going to upgrade anyway.
But it's always wise to wait a bit, for example, even the 5000 series will come down in price a lot when the new nvidia cards come out, so you could pick one up and a much more reasonable price....I don't know how much the gf100 cards will costs so i'll just have to hope for the best.
Sounds like they removed it from the game in order to use it as an incentive to purchase new...kind of sucks that I have to download content that should have been on the disk, especially seeing as there are no used game sales for PC games. At least I get a disk check only :D

The securom is just a disk check, it's not eh evil kind ( disk check has been in pc games for 15 years ) BUT
even the steam games will have to use GFWL for activation and it will have a 15 install limit, straight from the horses mouth, 2k foums managers told all in a thread there.

I am, I also have 1.5mb internet, but my DL limit per month is only 20gig, sos I really can't afford to be gaming online because I have to pay for excess, I have to keep my plan because it is combined phone and internet plan and I get unlimited free phone calls, to anywhere ( including mobiles ), so even If I got a better internet plan, my phone bill would go up by a lot and it wouldn't be worth it...
