I'm running vista 64 bit and I've had vista business ( 32bit ) since day 1, I have had less problems with vista than with XP.
It is a flawless operating system for me. MS did exaggerate the required ram but other than increased ram usage, game performance is the same as win 7, and vista also supports DX11, no need to upgrade for a long time for me, I'll get a new OS when win8 comes out, and a 128bit CPU to go with it.
Not if you have vista, if you upgrade from say 32 vista to 32bit win 7, or 64 bit vista to 64 bit win7 it retains all your files and installs. But it's always best to back it up anyway,
But if your upgrading from XP then yes, it will delete everything.

No one is disagreeing with that. But you tried to say that the ps3 'had more bandwidth than a PC' which is not true, it doesn't even have more bandwidth than new CPU's the only benefit it has are the GPU elements, but the CPU elements are below par.
That's strange because I actually stopped caring about ME2 because we were drowning in hype, and guess what, it exceeded my wildest expectation, even when I was expecting so much.
Goes to show what a great game they made, and that the experience is intangible and cannot be conveyed easily with words.

Be gone fool, this is about a game that is not on your system, and that you have never played or seen. So for you to say that it doesn't warrant a sequel is insane. The Mass Effect story is one of the greatest Sci-Fi stories ever told, and it goes without saying that the gameplay is amazing, it is a Bioware game.
I think you'll find it's the console that's showing it's age, and not the engine. ME2 looks amazing on PC, one of the best looking games in years.

The amount of Tflops a chip can acheive is a calculation based on the specs, it is simply theoretical performance, and no chip ever reaches it's absolute peak, or usually anywhere near.
PC CPUs are more powerful than the PSU, the GPU elements of the cell will always make it do some things better because other cpus simply do not have that, but here's where it gets funny. The PS3 has a pathetic GPU and there are many many GPUS with much higher performance.

Rule #1 of CPUs. Clock speed is incomparable, the architecture of one CPU might mean that twice as much data is performed per cycle. Intel CPUs do more per mhz than AMDs currently do.

How am I a fanboy, I don't own a 360, UC2 looks terrible though. I don't know what standards you have but the textures and aliasing in those shots ( and the gameplay I have seen ) look terrible.
Any way you slice it, ME2 is a better game than UC2 or most ( if not all ) games this generation.

No it won't. AMD is way behind Intel clock for clock ( my how the tables have turned ) Thuban will be lucky to compete with i7 on real world performance. By the time games and common apps make good use of 6 core cpu's, there will be much faster and more advanced cpus out.
