the only reason that demo worked on it is because it had weak graphics and was a basic demonstration of the multi-display capability with Eyefinity, it will have no real world application, especially in games, frankly i don't care for having black lines dividing the picture, regardless of the 100 pixel spacing etc,
and the most important..i have no intention of buying 24 monitors so i can guffaw at a useless tech demo, it's a great thing for ati PR to be sure...but physx has real...
it did sound un-nvidia like so i guess it's more of a pre-emptive strike from ati, let the games begin!

i have stated that althought the 5870 is the best single gpu card, it isn't a technological marvel, the mimd and cuda archetecture should give the nvidia cards a massive advantage, possibly more so than ever before, the main argument against it is the bus width required, which will not be a problem as the new gpu's are 512bit on gddr5
the 5870's failed to achieve 30 frame average with 4AA at 1900*1200 ( crysis warhead), so for...
this makes me think that the ps3 and 360 have no-where near the lifetime that was reported, first no more gears on 360, then the next engine being saved ( as was innevitable but the point remains) for the next console, it seems like they're winding things down a fair bit early, and if any publisher would have been told about m.s plans for the next console it's epic, they will be relying on gears 3 for a big launch etc
We'll see what happens, but i think the rumoured 2011 release ...
that does look pretty huge, just length wise, i have have a pretty decent size atx case but i have to wonder whether it would fit

if you could actually read you would see that fudzilla said they confirmed that the reports on the yeilds were incorrect, i would never take nvidia's word on something like this, but as i said, fudzilla said they can confirm it, i consider them trustworthy, consider it confirmed.

what are you talking about batman for, i have a gtx 280 and play a ton of games with way better physx than batman.
nvidia themselves have said that physx could easily be ported for ati cards that don't have cuda, they aren't liscencing it because they want to have the upper hand, and doing this means that alot of game developers aren't bothering with physx specific effect because half of their customers ( ati card owners) would not be able to take advantage of it, they are limiti...
i'd say that that statement was ignorant, but nvidia knows this, anyone who's interested in gpu tech already knows that they're spinning crap ( not like console fanboys read gpu news), so i don't know who this statement was supposed to impress, even i as an nvidia fan think that they're jackasses.
let your gpu's do the talking nvidia, if your gpus thrash the 5800 series, then ill take any crap you have to shout from your soapbox and i'll nod my head along
lol, so true, i traded ,my wii which i regret, i'm a pc gamer this time around and for me: the 360 and ps3 are pc lites, so there's not alot of point for a few exclusives,
when the price drop for the wii happens i will get another, then i can enjoy my harcore games like starcraft, and some good ol' zelda on wii too
