Thumbs up for Jade Raymond, her position as MD makes her even more sexy =D
Ah this brings back memories - awesome game. Be cool to see a modern remake of this, perhaps similar to God of War/Dantes Inferno, but I might be getting ahead of myself =)
Agree with ATiElite - the two really cannot be compared. It's like comparing basketball to football, both are sports but are still completely different. Personally, I have put in more time into Bad Company 2 than CoD:MW2, I simply enjoy it more.
That keyboard/mouse combo is not a bad idea at all. Bubble up for the idea =)
This game is broken beyond belief. You wouldn't knowingly release a broken car from the factory to sell, so I don't understand how they can get away with selling a completely broken game.
This shouldn't be compared to CoD or Battlefield. The Operation Flashpoint games are combat simulators, so I believe it does have it's place in 2011.
CoD is your arcade shooter, Operation Flashpoint is your combat simulator, and Battlefield is a balance between the two.
I wish God of War would be released for the PC -- I don't own a PS3 =( Dante's Inferno just didn't cut it.
@rrjim1 - Just like Black Ops? =P
PC all the way! I was lucky enough to grow up on both consoles and PC's in my household. Back in the day I would lean more towards consoles as PC's cost you an arm and a leg -- especially ones that were kitted out to play games, but these days PC hardware has dropped in price considerably. If you want to take full advantage of a game, then there is no better experience than playing it on a PC with it's superior graphics.
That is not to say I don't love my cons...
All in good time, the suspense is killing us all =P
Woah! I had a slice of bread at the start of this article... at the end of the article it was toast. So hot, I can't wait!
I don't think console gamers should complain about the smaller size multiplayer when the game looks this good!
PC still pwns you all ;) The first screenie says it all "Power to the PC Players".
Probably on the PC as I want the best visual quality for this game. Although, sitting back on the couch with the big screen TV on a console is also appealing.
Thumbs up for the new look of characters -- they look awesome now =)
omg! You mam are a genius =P I have had that movie name on the tip of my tongue for so long, but just could not remember it for the life of me. I been meaning to watch it again. I owe you big thanks =D
Edit: Bubble up for you is the best thanks I can give ;)
The story is similar to the book series 'Tomorrow' which then saw the not so good movie adaption 'Tomorrow, When the War Began'. Can't wait for this game, and for some reason I get a nostalgic feeling that this will be as good as playing Half Life for the first time =)
Sonyrep, you sir are clearly an idiot.
DICE won't make this a Call of Duty clone, no one needs to worry about that. They have their own style which has been successful in the past, and will continue to be successful for them -- I'm sure Medal of Honor taught them a valuable lesson.
As for single player, I predict a Bad Company style single player but more serious.
Hahahah this made my day. It's funny how all the excuses are generally the same.
"I was going to the shops to buy milk to warm up for my grandmother, and when I got home I wanted to relax and play some PS3 but it says 'permanently banned'. I don't know why? Is it because I like to help the elderly or was it because of my major donation to find a cure for cancer? I sometimes let my grandmother play PS3, maybe it was her? Please help".
Before reading this article I had a piece of hot crispy toast in my hand. At the end of this article it somehow turned into stale moldy bread. That was just plain terrible.
That Battle of Hoth level is still the best Star Wars themed game I have ever played - perhaps KOTR can beat it with it's space combat.
