I gotta say, every single part of this update looks amazing, and soo much of it was directly from user feedback which is great that they are listening. The new leadership (no don, no balmer, etc) and direction that MS has taken is really impressive, especially in such a short time.

I am not sure if the push MS is taking in japan will pay off or not (as I am not informed on that market) but I can say I am extremely happy to hear this. Assuming these get western ports I hope that some of these games are JRPG's in the veins of blue dragon and lost odysee.

Early dlc fine, alpha fine, longer beta fine. But 1 year exclusive content and missing content from DLC on xbox (with the same cost on either console) is just insane. Early DLC is one thing but what sony and activision have done here is just despicable. I just don't get why people blame bungie, when they likely had little to do with the deal.

It's great to see the turn around happening at MS. I am happy with the direction, lots of games, monthly updates, ded servers, etc. I am sure some people on here *cough guy above me *cough will still find a reason to complain (ironically probably the same people who bashed xbox tv)
It's not even a gaming studio ... MS announces tv shows and gets reamed, then they close the studio producing the tv shows (and NO games) and that's bad? Make up your minds....

Yup game looks great, (visually, the alpha was fun too) XB1 looks EXACTLY the same as the PS4 alpha looked, looks like very minor LOD should be the only difference, unless PS4's alpha was dumbed down graphically.

Considering there are multiple new exclusive IP on each console and plenty of new multiplat IP's, no. This article focuses on a VERY select few games that have existed for years before this gen as well.
Completely ignoring games like:
Quantum break, knack, ryse, RIME,titanfall, sunset overdrive, the order 1886, splatoon, evolve, etc, etc, etc.

I am in a very similar boat, RIME is one of the largest reasons I got my PS4.

@ron I am actually happy. I was never a big fan of fable, but I do think this looks great. As long as they manage to slip a good story and get the mechanics to work nicely I am looking forward to it.
