Hmmm, so first the fanboys say, cloud "doesn't exist," then they show star mapping and release games with cloud AI.
they say "well it can't render anything." MS shows it rendering large scale particle rendering.
They say it was "faked" or onpy worked because it was a "a PC" (clearly don't get how internet works...) another dev completely seperate from MS says they can RENDER an entire world.
...
They can promote it over there because japanese people are n9t overrun by armchair devs who think they know more than the people actually creating the tech. Not to mention it has been done since the mid 90's. The term BIG DATA refers directly to it. It may not directly render graphics but it will free up GPU space. Just because it has yet to be done in this format (and surely not on this scale) does not mean it is impossible.

Looks amazing, but it comes off with a weird feel to me in comparison to the ps3 version. I feel like it is just shy of uber realism and throws it right in an uncanny valley for me. It looks very realistic, but it is off enough that it just strikes me as weird, yet beautiful. Seeing this gets me excited for the new uncharted game, as it will truly be a testament to next gen. The fact this game runs 60fps looking this great is still amazing though.

Idk if true, but if so, crytek just signed their own death certificate. It is completely insane they declined, especially seeing how MS largely made the offer to keep their partnership with crytek tangible.
I would have loved to see a ryse sequel, that could have improved on the flaws of the original. Clearly, yerli isn't very motivated to save his company.

I think it is pretty obvious why uncharted 4 won't be on PS3; They intend to make it a game that takes advantage of what the PS4 is capable of, meaning PS3 just simply wouldn't be able to handle the game properly, even scaled down and ported. Really looking forward to the next uncharted and to see how naughty dog pushes the envelope for this gen.

This game looks amazing on all levels, can't come soon enough. It literally checks all the boxes and then some.
Drivatars, weather, day/night cycle, sim/arcade "assist" options, realistic damage replication, data point based tire physics, open world, 200+ cars, 1000+ hours of gameplay, 700+ events, story driven SP, seemless MP, ded servers, 1000 player clubs, car meets, 100% car customization for both parts and paint, (have spents hours creating custom paint job...
Firstly, they are referring to creating multiple character models, V/O, animations, etc in a game, not putting female protagonists in their games in general.

The weather sounds like it is going to be well done, I just still can't believe weather won't be available at launch after a 1 year delay. Also, wish they had more than 50 cars with that added time to develop especially.
Wow, harsh to call one of your partners content being shown "a mistake" I agree that it was boring and out of place, (plenty of other event/formats it could have been shown at) but you usually don't publically go around doing so. Guessing the producer of that show isn't going to be to hapy about this comment.
Had you not said "better graphics" I would agree, but driveclub clearly looks better, just has IMO a less apealing world, social interaction and physics system (bounce off railing and hitting cars is like hitting tissue paper based on videos I have seen)
That aside, both games look great and are exclusive to their console, so realistically they aren't really competing with each other.
@EON First off, how the hell are we now comparing remasters to new games? Noone thinks a remaster is more ambitious than a new game. That aside the ability to play this entire series in all azpects with all dlc IS EQUALLY/MORE EXCITING as a new game. (At least for those who like/love halo) Secondly, who is giving 343 all the credit? We are saying it is a great value. I still cannot believe they are going to have SP, Coop and MP for all 4 games on one disc running 1080p/60fps all 4 fully remastered, nightfall digital series and halo 5's beta in december all for 60$ ... I literally was worried about it being over 100$, but 60$ is just insane, amazing value.
Now all they need to do is make sure halo 5 MP doesn't suck. Halo always has an AMAZING campaign, even more fun running it in coop, so I'm not too worried there.

In fact I am not a fanboy for either console, you just assume that because it's easier than providing an actual well thought out argument.
Phil harrison was still referring to the numbers from months ago most likely, not to mention it is sad you guys get so upity with yourselves about sales of a console you have no stake in. As long as the console manufacturer is happy with the sales (not to mention selling more quickly than last gens ps3 and xb360) that is all I care about.
I am glad PS4 is doing well, also hope the same goes for the other two. Unlike some in here who don't even like their console of choice...
