Microsoft have said multiple times they're not releasing the Xbox 720 for some time yet. And why would they? The 360 is still selling, natal hasn't been released, this gen can still be pushed in terms of sales and what the hardware is capable of.

Kind of short sighted of IGN to compile a list as controversial as this. It's really just going to fuel IGN hate (granted, there isn't that much of it) and whenever a PS3 exclusive gets a low score people will pull out the "bias" card due to it ranking lower in their list than the 360.

Ehh, why didn't they just announce it today? It would have directly countered the PS3 slim, makes much more sense then waiting a week.
I highly doubt MS will release a 360 slim. After the fiasco that was the launch of the 360 hardware wise, the media would completely slaughter a slim model given the history of the console. I doubt MS would waste their time.
It's about 12 hours since it was officially announced, we have yet to see any results, but already it's been declared a failure?

Realistically, the chances of Activition stopping to support Sony are slim. Why would any company cut out a massive proportion of the market? A proportion which continues to grow.
So, after doing extremely well in generations gone by, Sony get a poor start, and suddenly they should stop making hardware?

And MGS4 is almost like a book in terms of it's complicated and deep plot, at least far more so than any other game. Some people are so shallow.

Well, Sony were very confident indeed. They mentioned "exclusive to PS3" about a dozen times.
How can "AAA" suddenly turn from meaning 90+ score over on Metacritic, to how much the game cost to produce?

Is this a joke? Just compare the screenshots. MW2 isn't bad at all, but in comparison to Uncharted 2, the winner is pretty clear.
"Who cares if MW2 beats Uncharted 2 in graphics, it going to be a far better game either way. MW2 will sell more in a month than Uncharted will sell in 2 years."
Because more sales = a better game? And it's pretty damn obvious a multiplat will sell more than an exclusive.
