Halo 3 was marketed like it was the second coming, it wasn't, but it was, and still is a fairly decent and entertaining game.
GTA4 is it for me. For a game with such potential and a series with such recognition it did next to nothing to the gaming industry. Sure it was an OK game, but with all the high scores, the majority had moved on within a month. Similar things seem to be happening with FFXIII.
When you have a console which virtually every household has that appeals to all ages, it's small wonder it's games will sell better than consoles with a lower install rate.

Got any evidence to prove that the 360 really does "storm" the PS3 in the UK? Because I don't really call a sample of 15 people proof for an entire country of 6 billion.
Yes, chances are the 360 is outselling the PS3 in the UK, but I haven't seen any reliable sources proving this, and I have a feeling that the PS3 is doing much better than people think.

What I found interesting is that it took the 360 5 years (2010 release) for a game that looks like this to be released, whereas the PS3 has games that look at least on par with this game after just 3 years (2009 release(s)).
I'm certainly very interested in what PS3 games released after 5 years of the console being on the market are going to look like.
Please actually read what I said. Show me where in my comment I said it didn't look good, or that Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 looked better.
All I said was that I was reserving my full opinion until we see some gameplay, and that the graphics didn't make my jaw drop like U2/KZ2 when I first saw them, due to how visuals have improved since they were first shown so having graphics like this isn't as shocking. It certainly looks good, but it's not jaw dropping like U2/KZ2 were. Although you could put that down to having seen graphics of a similar standard to this in those two games.
But, this is a cinematic. I'm reserving my opinion on it's graphics until we see some actual gameplay footage, but never the less, the certainly looks very promising indeed. Cheesy, but promising.

It sounds like the voice that does the "terms and conditions apply" at the end of radio adverts. I don't call that good voice acting.
I was thinking the trailer was looking pretty good until: "I'm Alan Wake. The writer" which just killed the entire thing. Poor voice acting if I ever heard it.
Never the less, the game looks pretty sick and I'm definitely keeping an eye on it.
Looking back, Halo 3 is pretty meh, but I can't deny the hours of entertainment I've got from it, especially online.

@1.12, that is is the PC version, it says so. There just using an Xbox controller. It's lead platform is the PC, so naturally a gameplay trailer like that would be demonstrated on it's lead platform.

How is having co-op in the game proof? Or a 3rd person cover system? Or an action packed storyline? Those are things a countless number of games have.
The only legitimate point they made was the one about animations, which do look quite similar, but then again, both are 3rd person and will have been designed using real life models.
I actually loved the first game. 100% picking this up, now i just need to decide between getting it for 360 or PS3.
