Personally, I think it has become overhyped. People have been screaming about it ever since it was officially announced, and even before that. It looks to be great, but from what I've seen of it, not equal to the phenomenal amount of hype the game has received.

True post. The lead console generally gets the better version, but I think it's a bit too early to say which console has a better version of Bioshock, as we haven't seen any of the new extra content, and content>graphics. :)
There's so many great games coming out for both systems at this point, having a bad Bioshock point is no biggie to the PS3, it's still Bioshock, and there's still a load more of awesome exclusives and multi-plats coming out over the next couple of months. ...

I actually think this could turn out for the better for the PS3.
Developers will generally want to make their game multi-platform, unless they are going to be paid serious mega bucks by a certain company. These screen shots show that it's hard a pull off a good 360 port to the PS3, making developers more likely to make the game for the PS3 first of all, then port it too the Xbox.

That's an incredibly stupid screen shot to compare the two games, one screen shot comparison does not display the graphics for the entire game.
To truly compare the graphics, several screen shots spread throughout the game would give a much better comparison. I think these are the demo screenies, and 2k have already promised the real game is much better.
If you don't like the game, why post in a news topic all about it? That just puts big signs above your head saying 'jealous' in neon pink lettering. It's fine not to like a game, but a lot of this is just senseless bashing. You have to play a game to get a real feel for it, the beta will only partly fulfil that, we'll have to wait until release to truly see the game.
I live in the UK, and the majority of the people I know own 360s, but that is changing. A lot of these people have bought a PS3 as well (myself included), and several people have owned PS3s from the beginning, partly because of the outstanding success of the PS2 over here. Sony are slowly, but surely, taking over the UK market.
It will be interesting to see what MS pull out of the bag to counter Sony, the price cuts are a bit desperate in my opinion, and don't really encourage 'v...
Play the game before you say the gameplay is boring. Some shooters look boring, but when you play them, the gameplay is great.

Over time, the standard of levels will sky-rocket. In a couple of months, I think we'll be seeing some awesome levels from some soon-to-be massive names in the world of LBP.
I think (don't quote me on it :P) that an 80GB LBP bundle is coming out, on the 30th October-ish if memory serves.
I recently got my Beta code from IGN, and I absolutely adore this game already.
It's just so...cuddly, and free. Stephen Fry was an excellent choice for the tutorial walk-through voice, and his light hearted comments make me chuckle.
From what I've seen so far, it would be a great injustice for this game to get less than the equivalent of a 9.6 from any gaming site, anywhere in the world.
The size of the country the reviewer is based in makes no difference to how valid the result is. It's a 10, even though the site is less well known internationally than say, IGN, it is still a 10 regardless, and excellent news for Media Molecule.
Getting a 10 from OPM isn't particularly special, as they only rate with whole numbers and several games have got 10s (Fifa 09 got a 9) but the review is certainly impressive and very praising about LBP. In the whole article, it only pointed out about two things that could be better.
Shooters are far more nerdy than Little Big Planet. A lot of people don't like LBP because it actually takes intelligence and creativity.
Sales mean nothing. And the PS3 is far from dead. It's list of up and coming exclusives is thrashing the Xbox's current and future exclusive list.
