Well, updates and patches are one of the best things about the PS3. New content being adding regularly, bugs (if any, almost always none) are fixed ect.
Whereas the 360 hasn't had one update in the year I've had it. Why? Because it doesn't make MS any money, and so their not interested in improving their console. Fact.
Sorry to disappoint you, but R2 isn't out yet, so we don't know fully what the gameplay is like.
Or even better, hook it up to your wireless network without having to pay £60 for an adapter, and play your music straight from there.
I have my holiday pictures streaming in an attractive slide show directly from my Mac, whilst I play my favourite tunes from my music collection on my PC, all set up in less than a minute. :)
"want to surf the web? no problem thanks to the I.E on the PS3"
Don't disgrace Sony's Web Browser by calling it an I...
One of the best comments I've read on this site in awhile. Bubbles for you.
Gears 2 = TPS
Resis 2 = FPS
Different genres, and so they're incomparable aside from in graphic comparison, and from what I've seen of both game, there's almost nothing in it.
Halo doesn't have very good online, the ranking system is terrible. It's just so damn addicting smashing people in the face with your Assault Rifle XD
None of those games you listed have any special or memorable graphics aside from Killzone 2 :/
Actually, you alone talk about Sony more than most Sony fanboys on this site.
Yes, do tell which games your referring to.
If the stories that the E3 God of War 3 teaser has graphics similar to the in game graphics are true, than that looks to be some pretty dope graphics there. Or are there better games?
tordavis is correct. Not everyone wants a console that can clean the dishes as well.
The only disadvantage, is that in a couple of months, you may want some of the features the PS3 has to offer.
No. Because Gears is a third person shooter. However, Resistance 2 and Halo 3 are both first person shooters. TPS and FPS are completely different genres and are played very differently. Gears 2 and Resistance 2 are hardly comparable aside from they both are console games which involve guns.
This goes for your comment below as well.
A* for reading ability. It's the first Gears, not the second. And I guess not everyone has creativity, they prefer mindless violence.
Couldn't agree more. It seems only the group of fanboy's behind the console who is winning in the sales care about the results.
It would be a very different game on the wii. The concept would be the same, but the features and content would be smaller and there would be less.
Because it's hard to remove an entire church from a level and replace it, but it's easy just to remove one song.
Seriously, that's the lamest box art design I've ever seen. Games like Gears 2, Uncharted ect. make the box art look like crap. I have honestly never seen box art so bland and boring, virtually every PS3, 360 and Wii box art is better than that.
And sideways? OH MY GOD THE INNOVATION, this will change the face of box art forever!
You seem to be paranoid as well. This news topic is about the idiotic comment made by the head of Xbox. Nothing to do with LBP, which FYI, is an "AAA title".
I'm out.
"As the popularity and speed of internet connections rose, so did the popularity of using the internet for digital distribution of media. User-created game mods and maps were distributed exclusively online, as they were mainly created by people without the infrastructure capable of distributing the content through physical media."
Proves my point, and then:
"The Dreamcast was the first console to feature online support as a standard; DLC was available,...
No one said "teh cell" was needed, in fact, no one even mentioned "teh cell", or even Sony until you did. I suggest you see a doctor for your paranoia.
It can handle MAG, with over 200 people in one online match, as well as handle discs which store 50GB of data, over five times more than what the 360 can read. And, it can handle running itself without chucking out a tone of heat and sounding like a jet engine, and without getting the RRoD every so often.
