Jaffe does not understand one thing - without being able to sell a game any gamer would about 10 times more careful about any new purchase. People would simply be afraid of getting a game they won't like.
Any kind of battery loses some of its durability after some time... So there's nothing I can do if the battery life in PSP Go becomes too short after say two years or so?

I am so happy! For some reason my top condition copy of TR 2 does not start in my PS3 so as a fanboy of Lara Croft I am happy my dreams have come true.,:)

And the truth is that PS3 has lost the 'console war'. There are some FACTS unquestionable by intelligent people - 360 has an outrageous failure rate, Wii lacks a decent library of games for traditional gamers and PS3 is in the last place and is bound to remain there.

It looks like sales numbers are too harsh to be accepted by some people here. No wonder vgcharts site is hated so much on N4G as it does not support their delusions.

I don't agree with some points but still it doesn't have this awful tinge of crazy fanboyism almost all texts submitted here have. Also it's very detailed and I think the guy has covered all the things in this comparison.
PS3 is in the last place. Xbox 360 is number one in HD console race. Except this kids. Truth may be harsh but it is the truth nonetheless.
If there's anything that can be actually said about Xbox 360 fanbase is that people are happy because of PS3 slim as it makes MS work even harder on 360's being more and more competetive.
The guy is dumb.
They keep saying (well Iwata does anyway) that the decline in sales is due the recent lack of great software and not Wii being too expensive. So they are waiting for Wii Fit 2, Wii Sports Resort to hit the market.
A black Wii though would make me buy Wii again expecially there are already quite a few great games.
My take:
Little Big Planet. I don't know what went wrong with this game. It's simply boring way too early. Maybe it's the lack of any absorbing story.
Killzone 2 - awful controls and boring gameplay. "Halo-killer" failed miserably in all areas but a good graphics.

I did exactly the same - played both demos. Xbox version looked definitely better. LoT only comfirms the same differences in the full game.
- PS3 in the third place and very likely to remain in this position? Check.
- even with the price drop PS3 remains the one with the most expensive HW and the competition hasn't even reacted yet? Check.
- the price drop way too late in the time of a very serious economic turmoil? Check.

MS simply does not need do this.
Sony released Slim and lowered the price trying desperately not to stay too far behind 360 and Wii's sales. This is a logical move. Yet Microsoft does not have to change anything in their strategy right now as 360 is selling very well.
I hope PS3 slim will help Sony to be a little more competetive as competition is always good for us.
The really shocking fact is that even with this failure rate 360 is easily winning the console war this time anyway and PS3 has no chance to catch up.

You see no difference between Fable 1 and Fable 2 other than graphics and at the same time you are the same guy who praises Fallout 3 and Mass Effect... :-) LOL!
Gameplaywise Fallout 3 while a very good game is still far behind the first Fallouts and ME is behind KoToR.
Just accept the fact Fable 2 is selling amazingly well because it is an amazing, top quality game form Microsoft Games Studios made by one of the best-known game developers.

I'm glad this superb game sold very well. Not sure about Fallout 3 numbers bout hopefully it sold very well too. I spent so much time on both these games with all the DLC for them. Both give so much fun.
It's a little worrying though Peter is hinting at Fable 3 not being an RPG. We'll see.

I am sure I am one of MANY people here who actually do like David Jaffe.
He's impulsive but he's one of few devs who feel like talking to people who are his potential customers. Also he seems to be a cool man actually simply put.
