It's a wonderful game and still it can sell really wel - just have a look at Spielberg's Boom Blox on Wii. The initial sales were less than satisfying but in the log run the title turned really successful.

SONY is simply dying in the gaming market - they have nothing to show on TGS '08. PS3 is just a poor BluRay player and it's the only thing that keeps them in business.

This is a story of how the personal experience is the best teacher.
The kid was brainwashed by SONY marketing, he made a mistake and once he realized how stupid of him was to buy a cosnole with so few good games son it he came back to a much better console. Maybe in the future PS3 will catch up with Xbox but now for a gamer it's simply pointless to give up the best gaming library.

PS3 is like a dinosaur still believeing it can do as well as PSX/PS2 did in the past but the reality is that Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360 are so much better at delivering at what the customers (GAMERS) really want - pure gaming fun and not an overpirced piece of complicated hardware with very few good games and son-to-be-dead Bluray format.

The truth is that even Rockstar guys admit that the time of long games with huge worlds or very long single player is OVER. They simply stated that too few people actually even finish longer games or play games with huge open worlds. The example they gave was their own game - GTA4. It's simply not profitable nowadays to make very big games.

It's really funny because PS3 exclusives DO NOT have any more cars, more animals, more tracks or more NPCs than Xbox exclusives. :-)
Last I checked Uncharted was not any longer than say Gears of War even if Uncharted takes SO MUCH more disk space and both games look comparably with GoW being actually richer thanks to great multiplayer. On a SINGLE DVD disc.
