Bad news for ms, the people that are going to buy xsx are already customers. Sony will get new customers, they'll actually increase their market share.
Nintendo will continue to outsell ms easily. Nintendo have been underpowered by a long way - that has never stopped outselling ms.

One of my favourite Amiga games - TURRICAN specifically. Digital is good enough, at one point I nearly got the Ultimate edition - couldn't justify the cost.

King - That's Ubi - not ms, only Sony has shown 1st party games that actually look like next gen titles. And for every AC there's a Yakuza or DMC - don't put too much faith in 3rd party devs.
Popsicle - Has ms shown anything that backs up - the most powerful console - narrative? I don't think they have, if anything what they've shown has been extremely mediocre. Same can't be said of Sony.
Extermin8tor3_ - I can see that, but Jim isn't wet behind the ears. The problem is these days your messaging has to be rock solid - otherwise it can be twisted and misconstrued, to the point you have to explain yourself again. Sony didn't seem to have this issue under previous leadership. If you can't tell I'm not Jim's biggest supporter.
I think the audience for those games are already apart of the xbox ecosystem. They won't drive console sales as much as ms would think or like - and by extension shareholders.
SierraGuy - That's what has me confused. There a 4K/60 mode and a 4K/30 mode, surely 4K/30 would have all the bells and whistles.
Even so - Demons Souls is the best looking game releasing during the launch window of any console.
This is 2nd batch of botched messaging for Demons Souls, the 1st being the announcement trailer allusing to it releasing on other platforms.

jznrpg - A very safe number. There's a little hype for xsx/s in some parts of the world, but hype for PS5 in every parts of the world.
And the parts where xsx/s hype is, PS5 still has more.
I know the world has gone a little mad - but in-store pick up would make the bots a little less active.
Or they could just say purchases in-store only.
Probably won't happen of course, just a thought.

There was about 300 people at EBgames lining up for MGS:V.
The manager yelled out - 'who here has preordered for xbox one?' - a lone hand raised.
We'll serve you first - was the response.
The store erupted with laughter, not a mocking laughter just a fun moment.
At an absolute minimum. I can see more PS5/PC combos in peoples homes.
Watch any coverage by the Dick and Alex regarding PlayStation and you'll see where those sentiments come from.

You can hear genuine, measured excitement in Johns voice when he talks PS5. With Dick and Alex its uneasy praise, like they're trying to figure out how they can turn it into a negative and a positive for the camp.
