1920x1080 pixels = 1080p
1280x720 pixels = 720p

I remember last gen much differently. I remember it being a megaton when games like COD were 20p higher on the 360. When Mafia 2 had more grass. Now people can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, a difference of 360p and pretty much twice the pixels.

Don't pay attention to user reviews on Meta. Just the website ones. The user reviews are either 10 or 0.

No one can disagree with that. But, it's definitely an issue. Especially if systems and games are being sold at the same price.

I'm sorry, it's a problem. I would be pissed if last gen was still standard definition. There is no reason why we shouldn't have either full HD or 60fps for every game. Some of the great developers are already hitting both like Kojima productions and Naughty Dog on PS4. The only people who seem to think it doesn't matter are Xbox fans and it's because the console has trouble doing either consistently with current gen games. Which the same crowd who get's excited everyt...

I disagree. Disabling listen mode make the flow of each environment different giving the AI a heavy advantage, instead of you having the advantage. It's pretty cool, if they see you and you don't see them they'll setup in doorways an grab you from behind as you walk through. It's so game changing it's not even funny, it should have been disabled by default.

If they even come close to COD that's a massive success, especially for a new IP.

Destiny is going sell alot of PS4's. I fully expect it to be a higher split ratio than either of those examples.

From what I've seen it looks like more forced action sequences like Uncharted 2 than QTEs like Heavy Rain. I just hope there is a bit of exploration and/or collectibles.

Cause ND is actually doing the port, it'll probably end up looking more 'current gen' than alot of 'current gen' titles. Great news for those doing the double dip.

Not entirely true. Most of the games that are hitting 1080p are cross gen titles like Alien Isolation and Destiny. Pretty much all of their Xbox One exclusives run at sub 1080p and usually have framerate problems aswell. If you'd like I can give you examples of this. Tha...

I know they don't make console peripherals anymore, but you'd think they would still want them to be used.
