WOW...so much for it being an AAA title. I think in the USA Resistance will still only get 10 to 20% of the 400k. Thats 15k in Japan and 50k in America. WOW... a game that only sells 65k. What do you think of the PS3's Cell architecture? How much harder is it for developers to write asymmetric multiprocessing code that will run on the PPE and the SPE's? How difficult will it be to port code that is tuned for the Cell over to the 360 while maintaining good performance? Do you think Sony made the architecture complex deliberately to make porting that way harder, or were they just trying to get maximum performance out of their system?

I played the ps3 at my local Target today. Motorstorm is not very good folks. I actually expected it to be at least fun. But it wasn't at all. Like the previous poster stated. The crash detection is laughable and the graphics are "OK". But nothing compared to racing games I have played on the 360 all year long. I don't understand it. I would have thought that R7 on the ps3 would look better than R6 from a year ago on the 360. I guess the proof is in the pudding. Thats the point. Sony's fanbase of core gamers didn't buy ps1 and ps2 for sony only games. They bought it because it had all the games that other consoles didn't have by the 3rd party developers. And I agree with it. I loved COD2 and COD3 is much much better in my opinion. FEAR is fantastic as well. Its been an amazing month and Rainbow six is on the way as well. All these AAA games. As far as the 24 players online. It does get hectic. But its still fun. I think 24 should be the max for games with players online. Any more than that its just not any fun to me. You walk 2 feet and get shot. Too many people and so little stratedy.
I have a samsung. And when I hit the display button it shows 1080p signal in the corner of the screen. Its wierd. I didn't expect it. My question is....is it the tv accepting it via componant or is it the movie that allows it? I have both VGA and Componant cables. I was testing to see which looks better. Both look the same. Flawless detail. I will never watch a regular DVD again. Amazing.

If you want the best versions of multi platform games. The 360 edges out the ps3 in this game and others. Seems like the Ps3 version is having frame rate issues as well. The 360 has 19 games to date that have Won the IGN editors award. Their highest award and that means they are games that IGN highly recommends. Gears of War is ONE of the 19 highly rated games. So, you can hate all you want. You better hope that the ps3 has even half that amount of Great Next Gen games. Over half a grand is a lot to pay.
