What this does is HUGE. This will boost HD dvd sales. When people buy the stand alone or the HD dvd add on...they are clearly intending on buying HD dvd's. Thats Great news. Right now HD dvd has a big lead on blu ray. And with the ps3's launch being so small in number and you couple that with the fact that ps3 owners aren't buying but "1" game. If you look on the bacck of Sonic and Superman they are both NATIVE 1080p. Its a fact folks. And when the patch came out for 1080p on xbox live...the next time I booted up Splinter Cell it was also Native 1080p. I say its all over because it is. There shouldn't be any more arguements about which console is better. All the reviews and low scoring games says it all. Its was suppose to be obvious that all the 3rd party ps3 games would blow away the 360 games. But that didn't happen. Not one ps3 3rd party game has scored higher than 360 games if you average out the scores. Thats a Fact buddy. When will sony fans learn to be patient and not get sucked into the same hype trap thats being thrown at you. Get you all excited then when the game comes out, you realize it doesn't stack up well against the 360.

WHat you aren't taking into consideration is we don't know how bad the frame rate was prior. I do know this for a fact. It may be steady but its a steady 10 to 20 fps. I know for a fact that the demo I have on my ps3 isn't 30 fps. Sure it doesn't studder like NBA 2k7....but its a steady rock solid....Slow frame rate below 30 fps. So, yes Ign said its a steady frame rate compared to the previous build they tried out...but we don't know what the previous build was do we? ha ha ha ha...Son...
And it looks much worse than the screen shots from August and the E32005 CG video...Not that it looks bad...just not even close to the CG video and screen shots. And boy of boy is that frame rate horrible.....Motorstorm as unimpressive as it is...pushes the ps3 too hard folks.
Disc space will never be an issue. If a game needs to be 30 gigs...with the proper compression and a couple discs....Walla...You got the same content as a game on HD dvd or blu ray. Developers for the 360 will never be limited with disc space. Why? Because they could easily put any game on multi discs if needed. I'm glad to see Blue Dragon will pull it off flawlessly and most likely be the biggest Rpg in this next generation for years to come.

The roles have been reversed. Thats what happens when you create a superior video game console with easy and inexpensive developement tools with huge install base with the most games sold per console in history. Its a good thing for casual gamers....The choice has been clear this next gen in who will be number 1. The system with the best performance and graphics for next gen games and the MOST games.
Over ONE million copies of Gears of War have been sold...and its not even December yet. WOW....The fastest selling title on the 360 to hit 1 million. It also has accounted for a massive increase in xbox live gold members.
How does this relate to this article? Well, the ps3 has sold less than 300k world wide...and has sold just over 1 game per console TOTAL. That means that not one game has sold over 200k copies....Gears of War has sold over 1 million. WOW. Thanks Micros...
As far as NBA 2k7....There are reviews like IGN who say that its almost exactly the same with a few added things....and you have reviews from gamespot that say that the 360 version is clearly better...and Gamespot also talks about the horrid frame rate in 1080p. SO yes...you gain the extra resolution but you loose the framerate drastically. IGN for some reason didn't even bring it up. But I have it. And its a major problem. Even in 720p the 360 version runs better and looks better. And...
Keep in mind that the guys who bought the 260k launch ps3's worldwide...Japan/USA....are Sony's hardest of the hardcore gamers. And they only picked up 1.5 games per console sold. Thats severely pathetic people. I know game developers have got to be upset about it. Thats not good news to their ears. Why should they keep shelling out millions of dollars to make games that even the hardcore gamers don't want. And on top of that they are games that don't compare to any of the 360 top title...

Everyone now knows that the xbox 360 had a much better next gen launch than the ps3. Its no longer a a question. Its a Fact now. Thats why I say the War is over. All sony fanboys had was hope. Now their hopes have been squashed. The 360 had a better launch PERIOD. The ps3 has no AAA games at launch that average 90 or better. Resistance is in the 8's on average. Just about all of the 360 launch games were 8's and 9's with the lowest getting a 6. So there shouldn't been any more argue...
