The reason to why 360 games sell more than Wii games or Ps3 games has little to do with intall base and more to do with the type of consumers who buy the xbox 360.
With over 6.2 games sold per console...the 360 sells more games than the ps3 and wii combined. The Wii was mostly bought by parents/grandparents for kids. And for the adults who bought it to play themselves....its very gimmicky....
But every country has a sell through limit. And the Wii is close to reaching its sell through limit in Japan. Remember Japan isn't that big of a country and its population isn't no where near other countries. So I would say that most people who want a Wii...has one...So it's expected to slow down in sales. Japan ranks a distant 3rd in gaming countries. With the USA selling twice as much consoles as Japan and Europe combined per month.

people who support sony and or bought a Ps3....feel very threatened by HD dvd and all of its recent successes...They hate it with a passion. The last thing they want is HD dvd to win the format war...it then makes their purchase of the ps3 look like a flop. Get delayed for the Ps3. Sony fanboys are used to being treated as second class citizens by game developers.

I use a usb keyboard with my Elite/HD dvd add on...but yet this is way cooler than a keyboard in my lap. Everytime I want to text someone...I have to put my controller down and use the keyboard...lol....This is a very cool peripheral...
BTW...when you purchase the HD dvd add on you get 2 extra usb ports...which then gives you 4 open usb ports on the xbox 360....along with the 4 wireless controllers...so both the Ps3 and the 360 have more than enough usb/wireless connections......

For every Ps3 and stand alone blu ray player sold.....there is less than 1 movie sold. Not even ONE movie sold.

Ps3's will never be bought by casual consumers for the sole purpose of watching blu ray movies. Its just too expensive for MOST movie watchers.... Under 200 is the sweet spot for most...
The price of the Ps3 at its cheapest is 500 dollars. Casual consumers who watch movies and don't play games.....WILL NOT buy a ps3 just for movies. PERIOD. Its not rocket science. Its very deep. Very fun. The framerate issues stop it from being a 9 but I would give it an 8 easily. Its just that deep and that fun to play. Its a mix between diablo and Oblivion. I love it. The framerate issues are not as bad as a few reviews have mentioned. Even Gamespot and Ign say its a solid Good game for RPG fans. I go one step beyond that.
Ratchet and Clank will have the same fate at best. With how small the ps3 fanbase is...A game will be lucky to sell 1 million copies. Resistence and Motorstorm were the only games for months and look how long it took to get to the 1 million sold mark...The ps3 attatch ratio is 1.5 games sold per console. Thats why Big games sell so little on the ps3.
