In the USA....The xbox 360 has more consoles sold than any other Next Gen system.

Was the same group that predicted prior to the Ps3 Launch in mid 2006 that the Ps3 would sell 4 million ps3's by the end of 2006 and surpass the xbox 360 by March 2007. LOL...I think that were more than a little off with that one.
So now we are to believe this B.S. about the Ps3 finally surpassing the xbox 360 in 2009. LOL...
How? The xbox 360 has sold just about 12 million consoles thus far. The ps3 is just hitting the 5 million sold mark if that.

I agree with you. I have both versions as well and the 360 version has much better textures and graphics as a whole. But the Ps3 version does run a tad smoother but I think it has more to do with the cut back in graphics to get the game to run smoother....With that said....it still looks and plays better than Motorstorm....and the 360 version is the best version in my opinion....
What is amazing to me and beautiful for 3rd party developers, is that regardless of who's numbers you believe in regards to total console sales....VG charts, NPD, Nextgenwars, ect.....THe fact remains that the 360 has sold more games than the Wii and the Ps3 combined....Think about that folks....let that sink in....

Surpass the 200 million mark....I wouldn't even be surprised if it made an astonishing 300 million on day one. I believe that on day one there will be over 4 million sold. Shattering everything before it and setting a new bar for AAA video game title....Kind of like music has the michael jackson award....video games will one day have the Halo award of excellence....LOL....

Halo is a First Person Shooter.
If you don't like First person shooters...then that explains it.
But I have been playing first person shooters all my life. I started with PC gaming. I have played them all. All the Unreals, Quakes, Duke Nukem, Dooms, Half Lifes, Counter Strikes, and so on and so on.
Everyone has their favorites of course...and they all have their reasons.....
I just knew Heavonly Sword would be the first AAA game in a year for my ps3....well, not even close. Its average score is in the low 8's just like Motorstorm. Every game has been a let down for the ps3. While yes low 8 is Good. Its just not the blockbuster game we have been waiting for. Its not the Oblivion, the Bio SHock, the Gears of War, the Halo 3....While yes Oblvion came out for the ps3 a year after the 360 and PC version....I had already thoroughly beat it twice....No need to play...
Those numbers are low because it doesn't account for all retail. NPD is official...but its not all the retail chains. So those numbers are accurate according to NPD...but they are low because they don't take all the consoles sold into account. Like I have said a million times before. I asked the guy in the electonics area and he said they sell as soon as they come in. Which is 3 times a week ever since the price drop. The Halo 3 effect coupled with the price drop is doing wonders for sales. I would assume when NPD comes out for August....the 360 will be back at selling 300,000 in the USA a month.
You do realize that God of War has only sold 1.8 million copies right? LOL.......So I don't think that measily 1.8 million will effect the outcome of the console war....But I do believe that the God of War series is the best the ps2 had to offer. But sadly only 1.8 million other ps2 fans agree with me. There are over 108 million ps2 gamers that have never bought God of War. LOL......
