ImHO that was confirmed the minute we knew the original Bioshock was coming to PS3.
It's honestly one of the most brilliant games I've ever played and I can't wait to have more people out there able to discuss the twists and turns that entertained me so much...

You'd think we'd get the third installment at least instead of the MMO... since the story was slightly unfinished. The KOTOR's were very good games and this is pretty disappointing as I don't believe my meager laptop will accomodate such a game 8(
They simply just do. Then they go back on it when they see they can make a profit from it. they make $$$$ when we buy games. People need to grow up and understand business is business. These companies are around to make money.
I simply want the best games at the best prices for the most gamers... period. If that means Sony gets Bioshock> cool... if that means Microsoft gets FFXiii> fine...
I'd have a totally different list.. Geometry Wars is honestly the best $5 I've ever spent on vidgames... I'm still addicted to that like its meth for the luv of god... the news of the sequel coming out next month made me happy BIG TIME!!!!
I'd have DEAD RISING for sure on that list. I'll say it again in hopes Capcom is listening but we all (sony and microsoft) need a sequel to that and STAT!!!!

had the chance to check this demo out. Really wanna tho. I've heard people say the demo sukt but I've also heard people really enjoyed the demo after they got used to the controls. I'll just have to see for myself cuz the whole SciFi/Fantasy-Norse Mythos stuff really interests me.
has not spoke yet. If the devs do it right I'm sure they could still make him the silent hero. I think that is the way Link should be but not everyone else in the game. IMHO games should move past txt based speech. Yes, this can lead to some really horrible voice-acting moments (ie-2Worlds) But I'm tired of hitting the button constantly to make the txt scroll. Or having to get up and walk to the screen to get a closer view of some critical info that was chosen to be put into a tiny font ...
I really hope it's successful but I can say that I'd rather not hear or play with about %60-70 of the gamers I meet online... and that's in games that only have at most 8-20 people playing at once... if the ratio holds I can't say I'd like playing in game with a giant mix of racist ignorant prix, and whining smack talking children.
Cuz I felt Nintendo wasn't catering to my needs as a hardcore gamer... but I feel I must add as a long time Zelda/Nintendo fan,that this new Zelda should proly have some voice acting in it if I'm gonna consider it to be "next gen". I was very disappointed to have to read text still this far in the current console generation.

is "no buy" for me. Backwards compatibility is a major factor for me to purchase...I really want a PS3 but I have a checklist the unit must meet before I am willing to throw down that kinda money.
1- Reasonable price ($399 or less) CHECK*
2- Bundled with a game I wanna play (MGS4 or another action/story oriented game and NOT sports/racing) CHECK*
3- Must have adequate HDD (80+gigs) CHECK*
4- Backwards compatibility ~ ...

IMHO this console generation will not see a clear winner despite how badly fanboyz wish it. This is a major hit for Sony however, and I'm very interested to see what surprises Sony has in store for everyone. They had to know it was coming so they shoulda planned for some HUGE counter-punch. I'm not anti-Sony at all but I'm finding myself hard-pressed to now validate laying down the ducats for a PS3 when I can barely find the time I need to play all my 360 games to their ends...
