..and that's before I knew how to unlock the other classes or played em. I'm buying Too Human more than likely. There just wasn't that much that was bad about the game at all that I noticed. I could nit-pick about voice acting but it wasn't nail-scraping-chalkboards (ie Two Worlds)
... and just WOW... I didn't even know Peter Molyneux could speak of anyone else besides himself in a positive light... just WOW!!!
I had no idea how to unlock the other classes. I was pretty disappointed to see only one available when I got into the game. I am actually in the minority it seems cuz as soon as I popped into the demo, I loved the "stick-fighting" that most people dislike so much. The camera seemed smart enough for that to occur. My biggest fear was about the stick being for combat instead of camera-work. I'll definitely have to give the other classes a go.
Is for the price of a cup of coffee I would by Vader... I'd rather buy a pack of multiple playable chars that Vader is in =)
I agree that if you're paying to unlock something that ships with the game that's wrong.
Doubt I even will get this game anyway ... I wanted it, but I doubt I'll find the time for it.

Everything I've seen and heard of this game leads me to believe it's gonna be somewhat like an MMOrpg. Between all Moly's sly little hinting and those XBLA games that seem to lend credence to an in-game economy. Just my IMHO.
I'll buy Vader for a few hundred points. No more than I'd pay for an action figure tho.. 200pts Glad to have the option of getting both.
the game is not the same without Glados... for me at least, this news has made it an instant NO BUY... and I'm very disappointed about that.

I was pretty confused about it.
Been awaiting this game forever. Loved Alien Homonid and this looks like it will be way better than that, as difficult as it is for me to say.
a fix has been available since my RROD in August/Sept of 07'... It took me talking to several people on the helpline to get it but you only had to re-download everything onto your new console and since the original download was still on the HDD each "re-download" only took a few seconds. It was a little meticulous but didn't take very long and I had a ton of content to retrieve.
Day 1 purchase... I can hope it'll be 400pts but I doubt it.
Unless we're talking about the medals you get in Halo3 MultiPlayer that only appear on Bungie.net??? From the tiny pic, the medals resemble some of the medals I got from Halo3. If that's the case - sure why not. Might make me play Halo3 again if I don't have to access Bungie.net to view those.
... but again I'm only speculating and dont't understand if there's a difference between these new Medals and the old Achievements.
they're talking bout uploading the WHOLE game.. just a coupla gigs to smooth load-times. But that still sux for those who only have the inadequate 20gig HDD... I just upgraded to the 120gig and luckily caught a sale on Amazon so it was $140. That's still too much for 120gigs and I hope Microsoft decreases the price on HDD's because of this aspect but that doesn't really fit their MO....
anyone who thought SE was not developing FFxiii initially on PC was either lieing to themselves or just plain ignorant as to how software is made. This is no surprise to me being that the games industry is more interested in making $$$ than placating whiny self-absorbed fanboyz.
