But the thing is as we move forward the difference between series X/PS5 vs series S will be quite a lot. I really like Sony's approach of having same specs with only difference being the disk drive

What I don't understand is how each generation we start from scratch and by the time it's end of the generation we get features which were available last generation
How about building from the already available features and adding more

Thing is tencent are buying many companies and they are also after square enix. Not many people talk about this or know this but tencent is worth close to a trillion dollars
I much rather Xbox PlayStation or Nintendo buy studios then a company that only cares about the bottom line
