you still think this has all to do only with COD but by owning bethesda and activision ms will own some of the BIGGEST IP's in gaming/entertainment. The difference is sony develops it's own while ms plans on buying these well known 3rd party IP's and making them exclusives

In today's industry huge games like COD can't be exclusive. This Activision deal only and only favors Xbox regardless of what anyone says. Can we trust Jim Ryan at his words ? I guess your answer is no so how can we trust Phil Spencer?

It's because we need see the results. Ms/Xbox has been using the wait and see approach for far too long. I am excited for what's to come but I am also keeping my expectations in check because Ms has a long history of messing up- mismanagement of game development
Well that is true you cannot deny the fact that for the whole generation Xbox 360 became the lead console and was much easier to drive for
It Had very strong market share and that's the saddest thing the Microsoft were so focused on next generation that they stopped making games for it 3 years before Xbox One and then they were not ready for Xbox One and they lost everything
They messed up and because of it many games will be held back as we move forward. Should have gone the Sony route and made a digital only $399 but same specs as XSX

Ms got Bethesda and made their games exclusives now so they can say "games will be available on other platforms all they want but reality is once any deal goes through Ms has all the power"
What's amazing to me is how many Xbox gamers want this deal to go through and don't see the negatives or the long term ramif...
Honestly now might be the perfect time because there are so many characters from horizon IP, God of war IP, ghost of tsushima IP

The point you are missing is a trillion dollar company can make offers which would become hard to refuse
If they offered Sony 450 billion don't you think they would consider ( and I just using that as an example) everyone has a price and so once using your logic since it's Ms money there is nothing wrong with that right?
