They brought in over $100 million in net bookings. This is the highest quarterly figure for the franchise ever.
There are so many games out that most games are never even finished by gamers. So if you got one month out of the game that’s great value
We still have so many games release later this month and next. I don’t buy games at launch anymore but there is no denying there have been some quality releases (I will always wait for a price drop of under $20-25 before buying, there is suck a huge backlog that it’s not worth it for me to keep adding to that at full price
Stop this nonsense. Over watch fans can’t be enraged when they are the problems. These are the same gamers who bought the sequel on the promise of PVE and blizzard cancelled it long before the sequel even released
When these games keep breaking revenue records at launch that’s when publishers stop caring. They know gamers are spineless and will continue to spend

I don’t think so. These consoles barely have been tapped into so why update it. By updating specs it would most likely cost more when it’s just now that chip and supply shortages have been dealt with
CEO’s make so much money for basically running the company and all their good decisions means hefty bonus checks yet all their bad decisions means their employees messed up
Never understood this logic. Gaming business has become so profitable that all the suits are running gaming companies and only looking at the numbers only
They shouldn’t have released a broken game. They should have launched on PC only and work on patches for PS5/XSX and launch only on next generation consoles
Their own greed is the reason they took such a major PR and financial hit. And this 125 million is a good investment because they will make that money back plus the profit along with cleaning up their image
The days of MS being able to buy an utter large publishers are over. This was so big and so challenging as is. Ms could always buy some smaller studios or private studios but nothing major will be allowed to purchase
Keep in mind the more 3rd party games MS makes exclusives to their platforms the less likely they will be allowed to acquire because that’s evidence that Ms wants to buy and keep games away from other platforms

Also yes those games you listed are MS developed IP’s but not hell blade since it was a 3rd party title. I was speaking more on Bethesda and activision games
I haven’t played it because I will wait for some big patches
So far this is what I can think off. Also MS doesn’t have better lineup they just bought their way into better lineup. So on one hand we are comparing Sony’s internal studios to MS’s internal studios which were all recently 3rd party and had games in development long before acquisition

Realistic is fine but too mucus realism isn’t. End of the day games are meant to be FUN. If a game feels like a chore to play than what good is realism?

But it depends if capcom wants a big project or a quick remake. CV will require a lot more work than RE5
IMO they should remake other games before doing RE5
CV is good candidate for a remake but requires way more work for today’s standard. People look at CV through their tinted glasses. I think capcom wants to remake every game up till 6 and fix the plot holes so they can continue the series in one straight story path
Also not sure why only RE have to get remade when there are other capcom games that would be better suited for remakes like oninusha
Clear messaging about what is coming up content wise. Can’t say it’s only possible on PS5 than have the same game run on PS4 or run without SSD on PC’s
I hope they really go back and get Shawn Layden who was starting to have a really good synergy with gamers

PlayStation is it’s strongest so not sure why they won’t have bright future. And I hope Xbox gets back to great competitive level so we as gamers get the best content and less greed
It’s over it’s time to move on. No sense is saying the same things when nothing can be changed now anyways. It will be interesting to see how Sony will react and if they are to buy capcom and square how would Xbox fans look at those acquisitions and keep future titles like resident evil and monster hunter away from them
