Your comment about a sony's confidence is true. This is the way I see this: first few years they will have bunched of timed exclusives and after the initial 2+ years their internal studios and 2nd party partners will have games ready to release. This way the exclusives titles are there throughout

I mean these consoles are more like PC's now so why can't we the gamers given the option to pick performance over graphics? I mean some may take 60FPS at 1440P

I know they said 2021 but I fully expect GOW to be out by Q2 2022. And by even fall 2021 ps5 will be 20+ million sold and GOW will move a lot of hardware so don't assume a lot of stuff

Xbox 360 had the best controller and they got the size right along with comfort. Maybe it's just me but xbox one controller felt bigger/bulkier than xbox 360. I liked PlayStation controllers but with ps4 sony knocked it out of the park and now DS is another huge jump. I think controllers wise both companies are in a great place

I really want improvements to some of the best ps4 exclusives. They were already great and to imrpove the graphics/performance would just be great. I don't know maybe it's me but the way they worded this BC by saying something along the lines our focus right now is ps4 maybe down the road we can get other BC titles
Issue with FPS is right now there are way too many shooters. Sony knows FPS games will be of plenty on ps5 so they can inv st elsewhere
As far as RPG's go pretty sure horizon and god of war are both RPG's now. But I would love if they would invest in some fallout type new IP. Could you imagine a game like outer worlds or fallout being done by ND or someone else at sony's world wide studios it would look amazing

A better way to look at it is it's very hard to make people switch from one concert to another every generation. Microsoft had this market with the Xbox 360 but with their dumb decisions with Xbox one they lost that market share. A lot of those gamers switched over to the PlayStation 4 along with their friends so now you're asking them to come back to Xbox when they have or might have huge library of games on PlayStation 4 and they have their friends playing ...
