Exactly for those who are saying they should have delayed the last generation versions don't understand the fact that the last generation console install base is 150 plus million. They did not want to give up on that big piece of the pie so don't blame gamers expectations its the publisher being greedy
Exactly that CDPR fanboys for you man. Unbelievable. Our expectations are the reason this game is the way it is I guess
You are right GTA5 is better because it ran fine on ps3/xbox 360. Runs better on ps4/xbox one and will run amazing on ps5/xbox series x. So yeah cyberpunk isn't GTA and CDPR aren't R*. Because R* would have delayed this game. Some of you are trying way to hard to defend this crap
They didn't allow personally recorded gameplay footage before the release because they knew the shape this game was in.(so how is this in gamers expectations)

To regain the confidence of the consumers and The gamers who defended them whenever the occasion they just need to hunker down and patch the living crap out of this game literally. make the game playable to the best of games ability on each platform and fix all the bugs and glitches and to top it all off announce now that the first expansion of the game will be free for everyone
So much for the defense force defending this game. It isn't ready that's a fact and sony did the right thing. Because their refunding system page crashed so hard with all the people wanting to refund. Let me see after this if CDPR made all their money back in 24 hours
I am a CDPR fan and respect them for being pro consumers but let's face facts they knew exactly what condition they were releasing this game. There is no excuse you know why because gamers on ...
Hardware doesn't fix bugs/glitches those will only be fixed once game has been patched
Yes but I think that generation had the wow factor because we were going from SD to HD. And I think back then both Microsoft and Sony took more risks especially early. now I feel like so many of the games are remix remastered or rehashes of the same old formula again and again. Just doesn't feel fresh or exciting

Next generation is never exciting early besides the more powerful consoles. Games come later and that's where actual excitement is. Sony changed it a bit and have games launching all year round. Early 2021 is ratchet and clank and returnal and by may June of 2021 we will get horizon. That's one blockbuster exclusive every 2 months
I gave my personal estimates for release dates I believe God of war and FF16 will be 2022 title...
No doubt they mishandled this 100% when it comes to last generation consoles
Is this a real question/article or parody. Ps5's already announced games for next 18 months is unreal. Even with few games delays that lineup would still be up there
God of war 2022
Horizon 2021
Returnal 2021
Ratchet and clank
FF16 2022
GT7
This doesn't even take into account games with are rumored/expected
Personally as a fan of western RPG's I really do hope sony acquired so...
I wonder how much of the time and resources allocating to fixing this game will cost and take away from the extra content planned for the game post launch. CDPR are pro consumers but they messed up big time. I just hope they fix it right and make it a game that gamers had been hoping for
For anyone who has yet to pick this up wait till summer 2021
I don't think I have heard this much praise for a controller
Agreed focus on home consoles and produce amazing games(overtime acquire more talent)
Logic
At the very least those games are playable/enjoyable. If this game was released by ubi, ea or any of the big publisher gamers like you would be in line to bash them. Now it's CDPR and gamers like you are defending this crap
EmperorDalek
This is why publishers take us serious. So you think its fair to release broken, unfinished, buggy, glitchy game and charge full price and don't even allow console reviews/gameplay till ...
because it's a broken buggy glitchy game which is clearly unfinished right now and will take more than six to nine months to patch an update to make it playable. CDPR charged full price for early access

Cyberpunk 2077 was finished and ready to ship game if we don't take into account that it need play testing for about 6-9 months and at the same time needed more polish and better optimization. This is basically early access game and all those who bought day one are non paid play testers. Anyone who plays this game in 9 months will have a much better playing experience. I am waiting till I can get ps5(till summer 2021) than once the game has been optimized and pa...
Yeah but ps4/xbox one combined is well north of 150+ million install base so it's hard for them to pass up on the biggest price of their pie. How this game can't run on ps4/xbox one is beyond me when other open world games atleast try to hit that 1080P/30FPS. cyberpunk is just a very badly optimized game and overtime it will get better. In my opinion in about 9+ months it will run/play better on all platforms including the OG ps4/xbox one. It just needs polishing and better optimi...

That's fine we all have different preferences. I see your points. If I can recommend please try Saints Row 2 it wasn't over the top crazy like other games in the series. As someone who finished GTA5 multiple times and GTA4/RDR multiple times I love R* but with RDR2 they went overboard. I think if the game allowed just a quick travelling system and ability to use cheats and save

While I love R* I believe they have also home overboard in game design realism. They want realism even if it comes at cost of fun gameplay. In RDR2 to loot one body takes 3-5 seconds of animation and you have to loot so much that adds up. The game design from GTA3 hadn't changed because we still go to a icon and start a mission than drive to another icon to actually do the mission. In RDR2 they don't even allow proper fast travelling and som...

Who's fault is it than? They announced the game in 2012 before ps4/xbox one. They knew the limitations after releasing witcher 3(which released with a lot of bugs/glitches just like witcher 2) but as a business they couldn't pass up on the install base of ps4/xbox one which BTW is more than 150+ million
They were lazy I give you that buy they sure were greedy. If CDPR had allows use of personally recorded gameplay footage and sent out ...
