Instead of chasing other FPS they should focus on their own like killzone 2 did. They even tried chasing the COD crowd with socom 4 that's why it failed. A proper socom more in line with socom 2 would be nice. I miss the warzone mode in KZ2 and the 8 player co-op on resistance 2

Give it a break for this generation than have a new game with a soft reboot for next generation at launch. Sometimes resting the Ip's will build more interest when they return. I think now that ms own so many studios and IP's it wouldn't surprise me if they started to go away from some of their most used IP's

Exactly when people bring up the fact switch did so well(and no doubt did and is doing amazing) there is also another side to this story and that's Sony and Ms launching consoles during this pandemic so those consoles are sold out everywhere

We can put COD there every year that franchise no matter what anyone says sells. It's been a while since I bought one and when I do it's usually for single player anyway
I feel like if the game was released after the holiday rush it would have done much better in early 2022. Sometimes these publishers make no sense like when EA released battlefield and titan fall few weeks from each other
No doubt capcom were really greedy back than do you remember on disk dlc that we had to unlock by paying extra and other publishers who tried to fight used game market with their online passes
