I've played a few games better than Mario Kart, Modnation racers included. As for Call of Duty, soon they will be dethroned by a better shooter, most likely battlefield. It's casual arcade style will eventually be its own downfall since it pleases the casuals the most, and casuals have a short attention span....
I agree with you, casuals should be second in line when it comes down to who the devs are interested in appealing to.
Consoles aren't going anywhere any time soon, sorry PC trolls. Not everyone wants to deal with upgrading their PCs every now and then. Let the casuals flock to whatever they want, they are are a bunch of indecisive kids, who the hell really thinks that Angry Birds and facebook will take down console gaming?
I preferred Battlefield to Call of Duty the moment Bad Company 2 was released. Battlefield 3 won't be any different, I will admit that I'll rent modern warfare 3 or buy it used in order to try it out.

For what goes into them it's not that expensive, but it shouldn't be any higher next gen. Video games are a form of entertainment that shouldn't turn into a higher form of luxury. Games need to stay at a mainstream price, 60 is okay just not anything more than that. Otherwise I'll just start buying used games.

Damn, I guess a I got to go that nuthouse then because imo Gears is nothing like Uncharted. Uncharted 2 delivered a much better campaign and it's multiplayer was also more enjoyable.
A lot of xbox 360 games on the top 10, not surprised though, the xbox 360 had time to establish itself and has a larger install base.
MAG was decent, and it did what it promised and that was 256 player battles. If they can just get the graphics done a little better next time it would be an amazing game.
Didn't Gray Fox bring up Gears first, no need to get so sensitive, it's not Naughty Dog's fault that they have a game that has a 96 on metacritic.

@secondlife, That is precisely why I don't like the casuals in Home, they've made home what it is today. Have you seen the PS Home forums on ps.com? There's a damn fashion thread! LOL. But at the end of the day, you can still have a great experience in Home. I think I would blame Jack Buser as well for Home going the way it has been.
I liked Home, especially back in closed beta, it did what it was supposed to do, provide a virtual community for ps3 users. Only thing I don't like about Home are the casuals that turn it into their own barbie playhouse and start drama.
that interview was pretty interesting. For a gamer girl she sure has her little preferences when it comes to gaming.
It's not the fact that she voiced her opinion, it's HOW she did it. It was unprofessional and she made a mockery of football.
