Shovelware may be crap quality, but it attracts the casuals quite easily. Remember Microsoft's last E3 and the games shown for Kinect? They are taking the Nintendo route, and this may hurt some of fanboy feelings but..hey..I rather stick with the company that isn't puting shovelware on the same balance scale as top quality games.
LOL it's great to know that you'll be playing soccer moms and kids on Live, Oh wait, that's what Live has always been about. Kinect is filled with shovelware, it only attracts the same stupid casuals that bought the wii, and now look at where nintendo is at. Casuals are sheep, and sheep tend to stray off easily. "Gamers", will see a gaming console that offers better quality and games than its competition, if they smart of course.
I admire your respect for ND, I think any game has its "tradeoffs", and Uncharted 3 is one of those games with the least amount of them. I loved Uncharted 2, and Uncharted 3 will be no different.

They don't have to use propaganda on me, I have seen what the BF developers can do, time and time again. I'm getting BF3 on the PS3 because it fits my preferences in gaming, as for the pc version, I don't want to go through the trouble of upgrading my computer and buying cables to hook it up to my tv JUST for prettier graphics and more players on mp. Besides, I like gaming on PSN instead of ..nothing.
As a PS3 owner, 2011 for me is between skyrim and UC3. But I wouldn't disagree with the title either...

I couldn't care less how pretty pc games look, consoles are more popular and more accessible in the world of gaming, consoles just organize everything and overall deliver a better and more gamer friendly experience.

The title and the article don't go well together, not surprising... But to humor the title, the Ps2 was my favorite console because I had the best gaming experiences on it, but I'm sure that if I gave more attention to gaming this gen the PS3 would take the cake. Free online gaming, an amazing library of games, Home, and just add in the extra tidbits of good stuff and the PS3 is one hell of an awesome console. Call me a fanboy if you want, but I think the PS3 is easily the best consol...
Honestly I'm starting to get annoyed by the BF fanboys, even more so than the call of duty fans. And this is coming from a gamer who doesn't like call of duty.
Wow pc gamers are trolls, console gaming is just more popular, convenient, and inexpensive, not to mention the pc has almost no exclusives as a gaming platform.
I was going to get BF3 on PS3 either way, I'm sure xbox owners will mostly be ok swapping disks, I wouldn't mind, but then of course it sucks hearing the flaming from fanboys.
