They were smart about taking a bite at the casual audience. Now they know that audience isn't loyal, they are (no offense to some) sheeple for the most part, so they are making the WiiU to appeal to core gamers once again. They are very smart in keeping themselves one step ahead of the competition, even if they just now recovered the lead they lost to Sony for two generations.
COD has turned into a casual franchise. Some people who buy COD now are teens, pre-teens, people who aren't even informed about anything regarding gaming, etc.

Funny, I bought an Xbox360, and I've been trying to get rid of it, because I paid for Live and I might as well sell it if I'm not using it. There has been nothing on the xbox360 that has made it a better choice than the PS3 imo. As where as my ps3, I got PSN plus and I got Just Cause 2, Infamous 2, and Littlebigplanet 2 for free, so I have TOO many games on my PS3 lol.
I don't really care if the PS3 is more powerful, because it has already shown that it can handle games that put benchmarks on console graphics. Not to mention all th egreat exclusives constantly being pumped out.
