PS3, and why? Because I own both, and Live is really not that great. It comes down to which platform has a more diverse library, and the quality of exclusives, and I think Sony has nailed that. I have no interest in Kinect, Dancing games, immature party chats, etc.
Everything in the game was awesome.. shooting mechanics, story, the island itself, hell even the soundtrack. And big props to the developers for FINALLY giving me an offline co-op option, not enough of those these days.
I agree about the run and fetch quests, although when those items are in dungeons, it helps you visit places you wouldn't even go into. Like those Dwemer dungeons, gives me the creeps...
Thing is, it's hard to make a zombie FPS game that is realistic in the sense of what the Walking Dead comic/show is about. You won't see any running and gunning, obviously, and this has to be an early build.
Sony learned their lesson, so no, unless they want to repeat their past mistakes, anything at $600 or above would be a huge mistake. Casuals would ignore it, and you'd have to make a pretty good launch in order to justify the pricing.
Don't blame Sony for the lack of progress, thanks to the sh*itload of casuals that entered the markets, companies care more about the motion gimmicks and low prices rather than quality, games, or graphical strength in their consoles.
You just set yourself up to be owned, and you were, congrats...
Very well said, the only digital copies in my PS3 are the free Plus games.
Good article, and good take on one of the ways these types of tragedies can be avoided.
People are to blame, because as a nation, we are IRRESPONSIBLE. Look at what pop culture teaches us, look at what the media teaches us. And still, we want to legalize things that will increase more harm, and advertise celebs and music that influence harm,...How many kids are going to have to die until this country, as a whole, realizes we are blaming the wrong things, and then not looking at the real sources of these problems.
LOL wut? AC3? Incredibly boring missions, (eavesdropping is such a pain in the arse!) Storyline is okay, characters are annoying, Connor was a douche, I even liked his father more as a main character, the game is riddled with glitches, climbing is inaccurate, and/or clumsy. It's a decent game, but GOTY? Never...
Assassins Creed 3 is nowhere near GOTY quality....
Exactly, a Bay movie, overrated, and far from the best out there. But of course, it's fun, I enjoyed Black Ops 2 for the short amount of time that I played it.
It's not, my copy is in the bottom part of my gaming setup collecting dust...
Why am I here? Because I can be, because I can criticize something that I expected more of, I actually use to enjoy Home, when it had more to do about games. I don't think it was supposed to be a Second Life, not as much as it is now. Is it a bad thing, well more people who have PS3s that don't play games isn't necessarily a bad thing..I guess.
I was a bit vague when I said that about virtual worlds, so that was my fault, but no I'm not fond of a Second Life rip...
I heard the media was to blame, then I heard not having "God in our lives" was to blame, then I heard some other random BS. Only thing I can say is that we're all scrambling to find who/what to blame, when we're missing the big picture. I'm tired of people telling me I can't have somebody in my prayers or say something in their memory because I'm not blaming someone/ or something. BTW, I liked the article.
If the PS3 is continually selling higher, and at a better rate, than I doubt it's headed for retirement, your logic is mind blowing.
Home has turned into another Second Life, regardless of what its fans want you to think.
Unfortunately, I just go in for the games, which most of the time, aren't that great. Virtual worlds aren't my thing, I prefer socializing in the real world, and when I get time to hop on my PS3, it's to play those things called games. I was in Home since closed beta, and when the flood gates were opened, it just turned into another Second life.
6/10 is a bit harsh, I'm thinking 8/10, any gaming site that have Assassins Creed anything from 9/10 and up is on something.
What did you expect from the userbase?
