GOOD! I want new games, not living in the past. Y'all make me sick! That's why we don't get innovative hardware or new games. Because everyones so nostalgic for everything. Seriously, get a PC if you want to live in the past. I want new games, new tech, and new experiences. Not go back and play FF VII a million times. If that's how you want to be, buy a PS1 and play that and leave the rest of us alone.
Give it a chance and it just might.
This subject's really getting old... If Microsoft thinks that's how they can score consumers, they're sorely mistaken unless consumers are really that stupid. Really, can people not: add, subtract, multiply, and divide? can they not find the (x) and (y) values? Come on! Math requires a lot of logic. If you can't think logically, you're screwed. Plato and Aristotle. GENIUS'! Sigmund Freud, a bit warped, but brilliant! The Micro-chip, the internet, THE PERSONAL COMPUTER!...
You're absolutely right
I still haven't unlocked all the characters in this game. It takes so long that I just gave up and put the game on the shelf. (I've never done this with a Street Fighter game). Capcom made it so ridiculous to achieve unlocking everything that it's like grinding through an RPG so that your impatience gets the best of you buy characters, stages, etc out of frustration. Capcom thinks it's funny but, it's hurt the franchise and thus Capcom. Street Fighter IV had unlockable cha...
I love how everyone keeps calling it a "joystick" when it's not even a joystick. A joystick is what was used on an Arcade or came with the Atari 2600 or 5200. There is a joystick for the Sega Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast but it looks exactly like an Arcade stick. Additionally, it's not a game pad either. A game pad is something that lays flat on a Surface and can be rolled up. That's why they're called dance pads, track pads etc. It's a Sega Controller, PlaySta...
Additionally, as far as reviews go, any uneducated fool can do it. It's a competition now for whose on the list to get free stuff and holding bragging rights over someone's head they not only got a free press copy, but get to play it first and in most cases play it online early to get s leg up on multi-player and have that advantage for let's say Call of Duty. Some games you can't fully review because the online community isn't fully there, so gaming sites have to hold off...
Bethesda makes great games and they know it. When was the last time a game of theirs was reviews poorly?
I actually see this as a benefit for all gamers. These days, you get on YouTube and look up reviews for a game and a ton of reviews come up from thousands of different people. Some more professional, and a lot of them are just sitting in their recliner with the game box in hand talking about how they got to play the game early. Kind of Funny Games? They're no longer ...
It's good to finally have the reveal. We'll see what happens. This could still hurt Nintendo, though and would be, again, for the casual gamer and the Nintendo purist. While I'm a Sony fan and can appreciate Nintendo's contributions to the gaming market, Sony does still ride high with the console for everyone but it appears to still not be good enough for the gaming market Nintendo might be going for. Maybe releasing games on Mobile devices will help mobile gamers transition, ...
The funny thing is, when you do something like this, you risk losing work. There's always somebody looking to get their foot in the door for less. It's not like voice actors are hard to come by. It's a matter of fitting the right personality and voice to that character and by someone stepping out of the way, it allows new talent to come in and wow producers. Have you ever heard a voice and said: "man, she sounds hot!" and then seen whose proving the voice? Like Katey Seg...
IGN gave this game a 9.2. This means the games flawless. If the online was crap, why would IGN rate it so high?
I don't know why but people can't seem to understand that Uncharted isn't a ripoff of Tomb Raider. Do your research and you'll find many [key] developers that worked on Tomb Raider --to include Amy Hennig that worked on Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, left Crystal Dynamics to venture off into Sonys territory to join Naughty Dog and work on Jak and Daxter. These were the original creators to work on Tomb Raider. How can you say they ripped off Tomb Raider when they are Tomb Raider...
He really is right. At this point, perhaps, for HTC, Valve, Facebook, and Sony Interactive Entertainment, it's not Vive vs Dreams vs PlayStation vs Rift, then again maybe it is. But to me it's VR Gaming vs Non-VR Gaming. Oculus (or rather Facebook) are pretty dependant on this with all the money they invested in it, they sort of need to succeed to exist in the gaming space, this was their entrance into this space to now compete with Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony (so to speak) teaming ...
But they're going to make more money on the PS4 than the Xbox One and they know that, Uncharted on PS4 or not. Tomb Raider didn't start on Xbox, it started on PS1 and the Saturn. What made fans of the series so mad, was how quickly they forgot how Sony helped make them what they are today. Crystal Dynamics exists today because of the success on PlayStation. NOT on PC or even the Saturn. Fans had PS1 consoles and bought Tomb Raider supporting Crystal through the original 3 games, and t...
Not a big enough difference to justify a new $2000 UHD TV. I suppose HDR is a bigger incentive to upgrade my TV over 4K resolution but, that remains to be seen. As it stands, I'm not sold on 4K, and 8K is probably right around the corner. As I understand it, 8K is actual theatre resolution.
This article needs some real work. There's a reason your English teacher told you to proof read what you'd written, and then have someone else proof read it. There's no flow to this article. She was in far too big of a hurry to post the thing.
Professionalism is everything if you want people to take you seriously. You've got to proof read what you write. This article is broken and has no flow. Keep working on it.
Eh. Anyone whose smart sees right through this. Phil Spencer doesn't give a butt-loada-crap about the reader of this article. He has a business to run and expectations from the board."What have you done for us today?" So, he talks like a behaves much like a politician vying for your vote. Typical businessman. It's whether his marketing strategy works or not and whether people believe the crap coming out of his mouth. The success of the gaming market is dependant on the consu...
Well, much like Microsoft are keeping a close eye on Sony and what Sony's strategy is and then doing what Microsoft does best (just copying what everyone else does rather than going for innovation), looks like The Coalition are doing the same with watching what Naughty Dog does, and going along with that. Eh?
I'm getting this on my Xbox One, though admittedly, the fanboy in me would have loved to see Gears of War go to PlayStation.
It should be a PSVR Game.
